MSE poster opinions4u has posted a link to a new LloydsTSB 12 month regular saver paying 5% fixed on savings of up to £250 per month. Needs a LloydsTSB current account for the standing order, but hey, I've got 3 of those.

Dear johnmoney05
Yes indeed at one call. It takes about 20 Minutes to do that all. They give me the Account number of those 4 accounts.

I must be in my bad luck run! Tried twice, each told me I already have one, so NO! Anyway, I am done. I am not going to try the third time, at least this month!0 -
Dear johnmoney05
That is typical for Santander Customer Services. If you try again later you might get a difference answer.
Kind Regards

In that case the person who was dealing with you does not know the conditions. Only one account per person.
ELIGIBILITY
1.1 To have the Account you must be 16 or over and have a current account with us.
1.2 You can only have one Account in either your sole name or held jointly.
1.3 You must agree to set up a standing order into the Account for one payment of between £25 and £250 each calendar month the Account is open (your ‘Standing Order’), the first being within 30 days of you opening the Account.0 -
Dear apt
The RSA that I am talking about in my previous post #1183, & #1187 is " Santander Fixed Rate Monthly Saver (Issue 12)". There is not any wording in their T&C mentioning that multiple a/c is not allowed.
My last post #1188 is to remind people that there is a new incomer lloyds TSB which pay even higher interest Rate. Indeed this RSA just allow 1 a/c per person. If they allow to open 4 I would have opened 4 RSA for sure.
Hope this clarify the matter

Hi Folks,
I have updated the first page of this thread.
I have added the Lloyds TSB Monthly Saver account to post 5 (as mentioned in a post above). The interest rate increased on Monday to 5% fixed for 12 months on up to £250 per month for new applicants. As before, the account is very flexible (miss payments and make withdrawals without any penalty) but you need to hold a Lloyds TSB current account.
There is nothing else that I can find that has changed.
I will do another update next weekend.
All the best,
SS20
