Hi Everybody,
I tried to update the list on Sunday evening but the forum was shut down. Never mind, I have carried out an update now. I cannot find anything to add to the posts above, so I have updated the first page with the following information.
- N&P BS Regular Savings and E-Family Regular Savings accounts added
- Chorley BS St Catherine's Hospice Regular Saver added
- Chorley BS Chorleian Share account added as the recommended account for linking to other Chorley BS accounts that require one
- Principality BS Birthday Saver account details added to post 4
Thanks to all the forum members who added information in the posts above. I will do another update next weekend.

Another regular saver for us from Principality paying 4% fixed for a year.

The Rugby regular saver allows £20 to £500 to be added each month, in more than one payment which is not normally available on their accounts. It can be held in addition to any other regular savers you hold with them.
No withdrawals allowed.
Apply in branch, or online and print out the form and send it with your cheque (freepost)

Dear ctdctd;35262175
I have asked them, they do not allow multiple a/c . Could you please higlight where could I find this info ?
ADINDASAlso note they require certified ID to open an account by post. No electronic verification.
On the plus side, multiple accounts appear possible:-
"If you would like to open more than one account, the
investment limits as described above apply to each account
opened."0 -

My post that you quoted relates to a different Building Society.
The Principality allow one account of each issue to be opened.

Edit - Ah yes, it related to the Furness BS http://www.furnessbs.co.uk/savings/regular/index.html. However the T&C's have been changed to only allow one account now.Do Money Saving sites make you buy more bargains - and spend more money?0 -
Principality have for the last few years had regular savings accounts which have different names and can be held at the same time,
at the moment I have issue 9, 10, members, rugby and birthday. I am hoping that issue 11 will be available shortly!0 -
Thank you ctdctd;36930264.

This is not correct, I believe:
They state on above web page:Transfer £500 or more into your Gold Current Account every monthDagobert0 -
Norwich and Peterborough BS Regular Saver Account
Special Condition:Only one Regular Saver account can be opened per customer throughout the life of the product, ... You cannot open a new Regular Saver after the fixed rate period has ended.
They don't seem to too sure about their own T&Cs: I have had 4 Gold Regular Savers; opened one recently. When I attempted to open this 4% regular saver, I was told I could only have one r/s ever.
The other day I was told I could have Gold Regular Saver, ERegular Saver, and Regular Saver all at the same time.Dagobert0 -
I am surprised they have let you open more than 1 Gold Regular Saver in the past.
I've never tried to open more than one of each version of their Regular Savers because of that "lifetime" rule, but I currently have open one Regular Saver (now in the lower rate band after one year - kept only for membership) and one E Regular Saver (recently opened).
This is the first I have heard of them applying the "one per lifetime" rule to include different Regular Saver accounts (I assumed, apparently incorrectly, the reason they launched "new" versions of the Regular Savers was in part to capture funds from rate-savvy existing savers who have held other Regular Saver accounts in the past).0
