Tonight after a row with Mum I looked again at houses - SO out of my current league and then I found this flat...... right near by and a decent price, I could probably get a mortgage for that etc.
So I got so excited and sent it to my friend.........he always reads everything really closely and he said but it has a tenant till 2022.......and I was SO gutted. Briefly for a about ten minutes I was like this could work! But no.
So in light of this frustrating and irritating situation I am going to have bailey's and ice cream.

Buffythedebtslayer said:in_need_of_direction said:2022 is only a year awayI think the issue with buy to let is more about needing a bigger deposit, and ensuring that you have enough income to cover any periods without tenants. Worth a conversation with one of the brokers if it might be a possibility - I'd start with the ones who sponsor the MSE mortgage guides, found them very helpful.RB xxDebt free May 2016...
