What ever happened to the snails?
And no, you don't need a fish tank, that £500 would be better off in your house fund for now and once you've moved, then buy the tank (cos then you don't have to move it).

No, I don't need the fish tank but I do want it. The state of the current one really bugs me and I want it sorted.
I did my walk, which was probably the best bit of the day. Mum felt really ill early on and it was hard work to see her in so much pain. Nothing really to be done, she has improved a fair bit this afternoon. It is really just a case of keeping her warm and fed till the pain killers work. Which they have now thankfully.
So Christmas tree is still up, washing is still in the dryer and not a lot is happening. And the dishwasher is having a moment. And I am going to have a nap! and then we shall see.........

I napped and made a decent dinner. Enjoyed masked singer (!) and then found out the local council as well as starting to charge for parking are now charging for older vehicles. That has depressed me. I would need a new car. Mind you another reason to move FAR FAR A WAY.
Hopefully it won't come to anything but some times I feel really unsettled by how the government and the council can put all these cost on us and there is so little we can do about it.
Any how did loads of French so that is good.

Really been looking after Mum, or at least sitting with her. She again wants a roast dinner. I did get my walk in but it had to be early so I can do the dinner. I hate cooking roast dinners. I really do. It was good to see my friend tho. She is having about as much fun as me doing this lockdown. However we are going to meet up again next weekend for walks. I am going into work tomorrow so that will give me a break.
The finances are done. I have paid 1000 across my savings accounts, some of this will go on the rabbit op tho. I have renamed the holiday account the Fish tank account. It has a hundred pounds in there and I am going put in whatever is left of my spending money this month.
Once I have the Fish tank money or enough for a deposit I will buy it (0% credit) and re name the account holiday and make a plan for visiting America. Realistically 2022 (!) If the right thing happened with the housing market it would be house first but it is important for me to have things to look forward to. Things that are mine.
Take care all XXNevertheless she persisted.2 -
Tree is down. I repeat......Tree is down.
It took 20 minutes. Seriously. Need to get it up in the loft. But it is done.
