  • I wish I was one of those people who had it together but I feel like I am rushing through life with a permanent stomach ache at the moment! Today was just continually stressful. I had to say at the vets that I was seeing the wrong vet and I felt REALLY bad about it but I like my vet, she is good and kind and knows loads about rabbits and this other guy........well last time I saw him I had to go back for a second opinion and this time (like I do most times) I specifically asked for her as she and the other wonderful vet had been there from the start. He just butted in. I apologised a lot but damnit my little bunny is important to me and if I can get him good regular care I will.
So that made me feel all jumbled up. The news about the bunny is better. My vet is thinking he is on the up post op. r  He was very normal at the vets but I am still not totally sure he is ok. He has a lot of pain relief and is eating, I am using pet calming spray to help him chill out. He does seems normal, flops a lot and eats, aside from some heavy breathing at times I can't put my finger on. I am just not happy.
Moneywise things are a bit of a mess. The CC bill is about 600 and the house is a tip. Work is a mess. It will all work eventually. Just not yet ;)

I know. The vets is now about 500 and the rest was my regular stuff I pay off. I also need to insure him and pay for vaccinations for this year and the car insurance. The fish tank is currently WAY back on the back burner.
I am pondering a no spend feb. I mean we will most likely still be in lockdown and unable to do anything. I love how I am typing most likely. As if there is some slim chance.............and like I have a choice!

Wow, I knew vets were expensive but ouch! Hopefully bunny really is on the mend and what you're seeing is just you 'know him well and he's not quite right yet' but will get there soon :)
No spend Feb sounds like a good idea! I'm planning on spending the next month to six weeks saving as aggressively as possible too so that when we can go out I can enjoy it without worrying about bills haha.

  • I am relieved to announce House bunny is back to normal. I hope he continues like this.
I have period pains from hell today. so annoying. I am off for a walk in a bit with my bubble friend. I was hoping to get out to the shed today but I can't see me feeling up to it. I am this close to cancelling the walk! I feel all bursty into tears. ugh. Cooking breakfast was hard enough, worth it, bacon sandwich for Mum, fried egg bagel for me. YUM.
Mum is so much worse these last few days, thank God we are going to the doctors. I cannot get a thing done between looking after mum and doing work. Work never stops. You can't switch off, a child e mailed me at 1am - thankfully I was not checking my e mail then, but had to answer it this morning, it was exam worries.
I had best get ready for the walk XX
