Your friend picked the right person, it is obvious to all of us, so stay strong you can do this!  They picked someone who they knew would care & would want to do right for them.  That is you!!!  Definitely a pulling on the big girl pants time because it was never going to be easy!
  • I don't know that she picked me. I don't think in the end she knew what she was doing. I am just here.
Any how weekend has sucked. Two friends have come down with the flu so no going out at all. The toilet has leaked all over the floor. Mum isn't well. It i 7.20 on Sunday and my bed is covered in "Stuff" And I need to build a fish tank stand.
I want to cry. Things are getting very messy with my friend as it turns out that one friend (who wasn't linked to any one else previously) wants to do one thing, the rest of us are still reeling and haven't made a decision. I am in the middle. I am tired.
I am so tired of it.
    sorry to be so depressing.

    XXX

  • Thing is she left NO instructions (I want to be cremated and scattered at sea by the way) and so no one has any more "right" to decide than anyone else. Just been a rough day. Had nice mug of cocoa tho and I do have clean clothes.
Oh and I bought new fish tank.........tiny but hey.

  • what is the problem with the toilet
Well Friday there was a drip, so I put a bowl under it and thought I would ring the plumber. Today the whole carpet (GROSSSSSSSSSSSS) was soaked through (I WOULD NEVER EVER HAVE CARPET IN A TOILET) and so I have turned off the water to the toilet and we are flushing with a bucket.
I think the join has corroded cos it looks GROSS back there! and the water is running a long (or was) so it looked like the pipe was dripping but I think the whole thing is done.

Hope you get the toilet sorted very soon, sounds horrendous. As with the friend what a decision to have to make, I'm assuming she has no family who would know what she would want.

    Take care xx

  • hello folks,
Rough here, work is awful cos the kids are feral as they are expecting to be off soon, am so worried about Mum re the virus, I ended up with migraine of truly terrifying pain waves on Thursday night. Still feel quite out of it.
Moneywise, things are ok. I have run up a CC bill but it will be covered.
Everything with my friend, well that is on hold because of the virus. In fact loads of things are! no holiday at Easter - Ok, that is definitely for the best. Such a weird feeling of panic but not.
I am going out tonight. Sod it.

    Nevertheless she persisted.
