Still worth checking the Coinstar - yesterday it "gave" me 2x 2 Euro coins.  Don't know when I'll get to spend them but the way things are going they might be worth more then than they are today (£1.75 or so each).

This weekend...  not one but two abandoned trolleys in the car park, both with a usable (once washed) pound in them!

Gone quiet again - just the odd Euro copper now and then.

Fourex tell me they have brought some kiosks back into service.  Next time I head up to Central London I'll see how much I can get for all the bits I've accumulated.

And they're closed again for Lockdown 2.  So I've still got an envelope of foreign stuff waiting to be changed up.

Hadn't heard of that TC.  Their website suggests the office is still open for drop-off.  Would mean a specific trip/detour as I'm only in Central London once or twice a month (passing FourEx kiosks on the way).   This week I've had 10p; 20 cents Canadian and 5 cents Australian.

Well, I went to London on Friday - taking my accumulated small stuff and 4 round pounds to tip into the Fourex machine.  One of the pounds came back repeatedly and some of the coppers but I made £5.29 plus a previous user hadn't taken their small change which was another 36p.

New collection is now at €0.02 :-)

My apologies for falling silent on my own thread. With the corona lockdowns, essential shopping only, unlocked shopping trolleys, a government ban on 'free'/'bogof'/etc, and fear of infection, I have not wombled much.

I have seen about 2 euros worth of coins that I haven't picked up; I have not picked up any supermarket receipts to claim the loyalty points.

I did receive 1 pot of cashewnut/peanutbutter in loyalty points: €2,99; and have received €25,95 in Nutri-score discounts over the year (the total is listed on the receipt).
My employer has given me €300 in 'consumption vouchers', meant to be spent in shops that had to close during the summer lockdown.
I will add those to my total and then close off my year.
    Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.59
