End of Feb update, I've ridden 35km in total, and have been going to the gym regularly. However my hip problem is more serious than I thought with surgery a possibility, so I'm banned from horse riding for the time being! And will only be able to do upper body and core work at the gym. Not sure at the moment if I can supplement my lack of exercise with more walking. Will have to see what happens with scans etc.

I plan to run an ultra marathon in April, I started running, from never running before, 18 months ago. Hard to get motivated to do long practice runs in this weather but I do 6k 2 or 3 times a week with a running club on trails, I'm going to start longer distances this week :)

Not much moving happening here, just the odd dog walk.  A combination of the weather and pain is stopping me, off to see the doc again this week.

Did my first two 5ks ever last week - time improved from 29 mins to 23 mins as I realised I didn't need to go quite so slowly!!

Not much to report here. Gym is closed and not horse riding due to my ongoing hip issue. But I'm making sure to go for a walk every day and am doing lots of stretching which seems to be helping my hip. I think my targets for the year are well out the window but at times like this there's many more important things to worry about. I'm enjoying walking more than I thought, been good for my mental health.

Ditto, lockdown has got me doing loads of walking, I'm averaging about 75/80000 each week plus daily workouts. Am doing daily stretches for my back and hips and it's massively improved to the point where I can ride my horse again so I'm just going to carry on doing what I'm doing.
