  • I was going to leave it till the end of the week to update, but things have been happening quicker than expected ..
I was half asleep about half an hour ago, and my mobile phone was ringing 📱.
It was the lady from the work related group seetec pluss. I struggled to get the phone to answer . She was supposed to call me tomorrow . She has been inconsistent of late , and I did mention it to her . Not in a cross way 🗣, but my speech impediment probably made me sound worse . Anyway , it is the end of that course which lasted 15 months 🙀
What happens now, is that I'm handed back to the job coach at the job centre 🚌
In  a way , I'll miss dealing with them and they liked me too which is good to know .
I just updated the info in my universal credit journal . There is a similar session I could attend , and may be asked to,do that by the job coach🚌 later in the year .

I received written confirmation from mr. Hancock that I should stay in isolation until end of March. I have to have another jab in approx 10 weeks . According to the media, it looks like June will be the time for all restrictions lifted . We'll see.

Yesterday was the first time I've been out of the flat since I had the jab 13 days ago 🐾
I went out again today , and expect to go out more on a regular basis once more .
Still training 🏋️‍♀️🥵. I need to reign in the food nice again . What I'm finding is the potatoes being delivered are not the nicest and waffles are not really the way to  go .
White bread although gluten free , has been sent as substitute and I must remember to enter notes when ordering food shopping 🛒

I had a strange bit of luck regarding clutter in the flat . The 2 chair beds are staying !
I tried an experiment on Friday . I lay them both flat in bed style , but put them next to each other. It means that they work as a double and there are no gaps in the middle . It means that all bases are covered  for visitors whenever I get any, which won't be anytime soon.
It means that , the only room to tackle in the flat, is the bedroom . I will probably tackle that on Friday . It means that in theory , I won't need much to sort out flat apart from one or 2 snagging jobs that hooefully james will be around to do . I may tackle a couple of those myself , and get a hand from my friend . ✋No rush .
    I'll leave it there ..⛅️

AC I have put no substitutes on my online shopping, which can be a bit of a pita, but then I don't end up with stuff I don't really want.

I've also been eating far too much and watching too much TV.  Am hopeful that as the better weather comes and we can get out and about a bit more and not be so worried that I won't eat so much :)

    Strange 24 hours .
All of last night I was coughing like a smoker who smokes 60 a day . Nose running 🤧
I'm guessing it's due to being at the dentist 🦷yesterday morning for my checkup.
This morning head was roasting , and runny nose 🤧. The sun was shining , and imho it seemed like the first real day of spring 🌞🌻. No walking for me today ! 🐾😾
Having said that , I did some exercise 🏋️‍♀️🥵. During the day, the symptoms subsided 😷

This morning I looked at my big belly , and have started changing my food pattern around again . 🥩🍟🥖 .
I got an lot done in the flat today , and know more or less what needs to be done to finish things off .
Good news about dentist 🦷is that it cost nothing . I pay just over £20 pm for 2 checkups/ hygenist visits a year. If any work needs to be done, there would be a discount .
Felt not great while doing stuff in the flat, due to my condition . Having said that , at least I can plod along and stop when necessary .
    I'll leave it there ..🌫🌞
  • You have a good deal with the dentist. I've left off my hygienist's appointment but must address this. Maybe after the vaccine...

Hope you are having a little sunshine where you are

  • Strange weekend mark 2 . That's if you call this time of lockdown a weekend .
Great progress is being made on the flat at long last . Declutterng , and organising stuff .
Same as last weekend when I found the answers to the problems there .
The only real issue I have is I need to tackle wardrobe. I cleaned mould off the wall around it . Not a huge amount , but something to keep an eye on 👀. Then again, the building is about 120 years old , and the wardrobe is on the outside wall.
I'm in 2 minds about offloading the air bed🛏 ( posh name for blow up bed, but it is a plug in device ). Tbh, I don't think I really need it, and it served its purpose when I first moved here . I didn't know whether I was coming or going , for quite some time .

Sleeping pattern all over the place again . 🛏. Waking up far too early .
My body is painful more often , and I still haven't been for a walk since Thursday 🐾
That said, I have been making progress in other areas , and the Covid symptoms seem to have stopped 😷🤧
    I'll leave it there ..🌞🌞
  • My iPhone has been playing up for weeks .📱
This morning , I had enough and was just about to buy the newer version of the phone I already have , until I decided to see if I could get advice from Apple support🍏
The advisor there was brilliant , however she doesn't think the battery is the problem .
She sent me some advice about battery life etc and general performance tips etc
I have a case no, so I can get back to them should my problems continue.
If I were to have a battery replacement , I'd be without a phone for a few days as I'd have to post it . No Apple store near me . Things might improve , so we'll see.

Had a session with mr trainer yesterday 🏋️‍♀️🥵 lots of different stuff . I have my weights and stepper  under the coffee table in the front room ☕️. A sign that I'm making progress
These were at the end of my bed until a few days ago, so it seems I'm getting there
I may give the air bed and new quilts away via Nextdoor website .
I have quite a few scented candles , but again am wondering why I'm keeping them.
I may try to get something alternative instead which would look better .
Still feeling ropey at times waking up,which means sometimes I'm gonna tackle my tasks and sometimes , I'm not in the mood to do anything .
This morning for example ; waking up with tinnitus . Spent most of the morning talking to 🍏. Now I'm tired ..with tinnitus . There are worse things in life .
    I'll leave it there ..🌩

I hope you are feeling better today.
With the mould, are you keeping the room well ventilated? Are you using the room to dry clothes on the radiator?

    Thanks DIA 😼
I have a dehumidifier which is very good . It's just one wall that is troublesome . The outside wall
The rest of the flat is fine .
I have a washer / dryer for my clothes , so no need to dry them on rads etc .
I do have trickle vents on windows and open windows as well from time to time, but with the weather as it is I don't ventilate enough in that room hence the dehumidifier .
I may move wardrobe from that spot in the summer , or just buy a couple of chests of drawers instead . I'll see what my friend or James advises , when they're free etc .
It's only parts of the wall that could be mould , but with something as big as a wardrobe I think I'd need help moving it.
Back in the old days I could move it myself 😺
