  • Thanks @triple_choc_chip and @Debsnewbudget😼
It'll be nice to get both issues out of the way . I had another variation with mr trainer today🥵🏋️‍♀️and fell asleep for quite a while . Part of that is probably because of the heating being on .
I'm still plodding along , and sleeping pattern has improved over last few days .
I still get the usual side effects of my condition , but if I keep going the way I am I think it's the only way forward . Speaking of my condition , mr specialist from st Thomas's hasn't been in touch as of yet . I hope he is okay . My phone appointment was for 8th December
I received my new water bill last week from Wessex water . I got a refund of £138 approx ,as I have been overpaying all bills since moving here .  I get two 6 monthly statements from them . It means now that I don't owe anything other than the direct debits , but I do miss not having something in reserve in case I get into trouble. Then again , at least I know what's infront of me and I'll just carry on direct debits as usual .
    Hope everyone's okay .
    I'll leave it there...☃️
  • Well done AC. I am rubbish at Excel. I did a course once in the city and actually fell asleep!
It must be the day for bills as an electricity/gas bill thumped on my doormat...
Glad your mood is on the up. it's hard this time of year. Soon be Spring!

    Thanks DIA 😼
That made me laugh about you going to sleep . 🥱. I think it's blatantly obvious that although I put myself forward for a few things while on universal credit , the thought of doing an excel course was something that would never motivate me ( also scary ). I still have the word to do, and will try that tomorrow .

  • Speaking of the Microsoft office course I have enrolled in.. It was scheduled to start in January . Obviously postponed till late March . I received an email on Friday  telling me that it has been postponed until April . On this latest email, skills and learning have given me the option to cancel . I may do so for two reasons : The main reason is the 4 buses ( 2 to get to the college , and 2 back). Plus the version of Microsoft office I have still works on my Mac . After the turbulent year last year , I feel in the mood now to get my finger out👉 and get on with learning what is on there while I'm in my current mood .

I received another home shop from Waitrose this morning 🛒.
I'm still keeping well and truly away from crisps , but this weather is making me very hungry .
    I'll leave it there ..

Me too. All that crunchy, salty deliciousness...:(

  • Okay ...
The night before last  I had raging headaches and poor sleep . 🛏
I looked at the word course , took the exam and failed (65%) . Fair enough , I'll take it again .
I had a really nice chat with my local friend ☎️.
I did one of the more punishing workouts 🏋️‍♀️🥵
I also arranged a cab to take me to the place for my Covid jab .🚖
The first cab co couldn't do it , but the nice lady gave me a number of another cab firm
    Great 👍
This morning , I woke up from a better sleep . Better form , although slightly anxious about the Covid jab situation .

Cab driver ..brilliant ! They are up against it , and he waited for me to take me back.
I tipped him as I do, and he was delighted . When I looked at directions on google maps, the fare was a lot less than they quoted .
The medical centre I went to ( heatherview ) were absolutely brilliant . Everyone was so friendly and professional  from the people guiding me through to the actual medical staff .
I was told of the risks etc , but doing as I'm told I should be okay although I may get flu like symptoms for a couple of days . Painless injection .
Today feels like weds instead of thurs for some reason .
One other bit of good news is that my jeans fit me better than when I put them on in January . Much as I love crisps, it's times like that when you know you have to stay away and stay strong .
Anyhow , hope your days are ok .
    I'll leave it there ...
  • All sounding good AC. You have the jab out of the way. Your first step to freedom.
It's good when you can see your behaviour has resulted in weight loss.

  • Glad you had your jab AC (I can't wait for mine).  I am sure I will feel less anxious once I have it.

You have done so well with your weight loss and keeping up with your exercises.

AC, just a heads up 're the jab -the medical staff will tell you "flu like symptoms for a couple of days - the reality for wife and I has been 5 days of a variety of minor irritations, from flu like to stiff arm/hot and itchy jab site/slight lethargy, none of which were serious and all of which are now gone. Roll on the second jab and a then a further few weeks later maximum protection! Keep safe😁.
