Universal credit is in the news at the moment . Will find out if the extra £80 will be staying , or taken away in April . Maybe some will be taken back .Speaking of universal credit , I qualify for £140 warm home discount rebate from EDFas I qualify for it due to being on universal credit and Limited Capabilty for Work .It looks like I'd be better off staying with them for the forseeable , as I would expect to get it again next year should nothing change .
I seem to be keeping my food discipline since the beginning of this month . I have a Waitrose delivery coming tomorrow . 🛒 No more crisps . The gluten free bread seems to have an effect . A few things to discuss with mr trainer today 🏋️♀️. Thanks DIA 😼
There doesn't seem to be any pests in the kitchen . 🐿🐀🐦No noises since I chucked the poison in the cupboard yesterday . That door will be staying shut for some time .
No walk today or tomorrow 🐾due to 💦🌧
I'll leave it there ...💦3 -
Glad you are pest free in the kitchen. I had mice back a few weeks ago and the friend I walk with said she had too. I got some poison and haven't seen any mice lately. Fingers crossed. Glad you are pest free.
I think what you are doing is the best thing. So, try a food and see affect. I woke with a headache and feeling a bit muggy. I had chorizo and cheese yesterday so both have been binned today. It is trial and error.
You are doing well considering it is lockdown and you are managing it by yourself. So give yourself some credit

It's almost a year since this lockdown started . 🙀😾. I remember your rodent situation 🐿🐀. Never heard of chorizo . Sounds like a chemical to me . Yes, the idea of trying different things is continuing in my forthcoming delivery 🛒. Even looking at the free from chocolate

G&B should not be given up! Just go a bit darker. Some things are essential AC!
Chorizo is aged meat but it does have nitrites like bacon so I'm giving it up...If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

So, I had anothet session with mr trainer 🏋️♀️🐾. Hard going again, but still kept up🥵
We discussed the gluten free bread . As I have a lot of texture issues , he is seeing how I fare with it for a month . We are both happy so far , so it seems best to carry on going and see what gives .I am having intermittent trouble with iPhone at the moment . Basically , the battery life is playing up . As there is nowhere to go at the moment, I'm doing nothing about it but monitoring the situation . I have the 🍏iPhone se which I've had for 3 years I think
To have a new battery installed works out around £80 . Then it has to be sent to 🍏and that means I'd be without a phone for a few days . The other side of the coin is to get the updated 🍏se which costs around £550 . The new one does not have a headphone socket 😾. If I got this model, the phone would survive updates for a couple of years and run smoother . 🍏normally announce new things in March and September so it's best to wait for now .
Speaking of 🍏, I decided to update my iMac to Big Sur which is a big deal apparently .
What I do know , is that I cannot use my present hard drive to backup as it's not allowed 😾. However, I have a new hard drive that I purchased when I got my iMac in a Black Friday sale . I've done something right I guess. One good thing about the bee update , is that some apps work on the computer direct from the App Store . It'll take time , but it's a good move imho. All of my music apps on the iPad are iPad/ iPhone onky . However, I managed to get a moog keyboard app to work in my iMac . Cost nothing , as I already purchased it . If the other apps I have follow suit , things will be less fiddly .Anyway, I'll leave it there ...3 -

Seriously though, unless the phone won't charge at all if you plug it in hold fire for now, i'd get the battery sorted in a little while when the outside world looks brighter...£500+ for a new phone, your having a giraffe...unless its gold plated and does your washing up for you!4 -

TBH, I was considering using android instead 📱. The annoying thing about where I'm located is that the 🍏store in Bournemouth is no more . Southampton is nearest now.
I was going to enquire if the new model takes the dog out for a walk 🐕
I am looking at refurbished models also .
Ive said it many times that 🍏s ideas died once Steve jobs did . Just more battery drainage, constant software updates and improved picture quality .
Yesterday on qvc ( I can't help it I'm stuck in ) I saw a Nokia phone for £350 reduced .
Smart phones are a racket ..4 -
QVC, another no no! Just do a Google search for best budget phones UK after writing down your wish list of what you actually need from the device, read the reviews and make your choice, then look for best price. I personally don't like Moto phones based on my own and experience and that of 1000s of others from when Lenovo took them over. If you use Google play services and their app store be careful with the Chinese brands as some don't support them since they got Trumped.4

Look for a small independent phone repair shop near where you live and get a new battery fitted by them when you are next in town.
Normally do it on a walk in basis4
