Thanks for your good wishes ! I hope that you all had a good Christmas 🎄
So, it was nice and calm . Yes..I did watch home alone 2 . The three tenors was good also
Plus the snowman ⛄️and the tiger that came to tea 🐅
I was at the back of my mind expecting the druggies upstairs to have another Christmas party. What happened , was that his pal was waiting in his car outside my window looking wired up and out of it ,and uncomfortable . They drove down to his abode. So all good.
🤞they don't have one tonight or tomorrow which is New Year's Eve .The turkey was well cooked , and lasted 4 days from Christmas Eve onwards.I have / had a phobia of using ovens since a couple of episodes years ago and also chucking too much oil on my food in the past . I have a fan oven / grill which I will get someone to clean for a small fee as repetitive movements affect my condition .I haven't been out walking🐾 due to the changeable weather 💦⛄️🌨
I took 3 days off training, but have started again 2 days ago and have done 3 days on the trot 🏋️♀️🐺.I received my drawdown amount from my sipp. This time it has been taxed. Not sure if I get it back . I got given a tax code and paye no. I received a reply to my email questioning it. I then got given a new tax code . The positive thing though is that my credit card is cleared. ( I will receive a small bill at end of jan due to statement dates etc) .
I receive another payment from universal credit on the 5th of jan and pip payment near the end of jan so 🤞 I should be in control of my financial destiny this year.I have eaten most of the excessive junk of crisps / fizzy drinks etc but it is almost finished
I am fed up of that now, which was the plan . This means no more will be ordered on my future shopping 🛒. Of course I'm still going to have chocolate . 😸
Two other things to note : James is still busy in his new home and hasn't contacted me yet
No rush . Hopefully will do something in jan .
The other thing , is my new neighbours . Nice Chinese family . I've only seen the husband to talk to when he first moved in . Nice guy. Anyway , I received a nice card and stone ornament from them wishing me a happy Christmas. 🎄Of course when I saw it, Christmas was over . So I may have to see if I can get them a new year card. I'll have to google when the Chinese New Year starts.Anyway, I hope that you all had a nice Christmas albeit a 😷one.Happy new year if I don't log in for a bit . 😼2 -
AC do post on the pensions section about your drawdown tax. You may be able to claim some back?
Glad you have good neighbours. Are they renting or have they bought?
A friend gave me some chocolates for Christmas and I decided to regift them as I did not want to eat them. You've guessed it. Just eaten them. Whoops!
If you don't log in for a bit, happy new year to you tooIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Unfortunately they are renting . Having said that, the tenancy was worded " long tern "
As for the others , the place was purchased by a buy to let investor with the druggies being his first tenants . I notified the managing agents of him advertising it with wooden flooring which is not on for an upstairs flat . The other flat is carpeted . So far , so good but I just have to keep one eye open .Yes, I think you're right about the pensions section . I'll go on there later .Chocolate is good 😸2 -

Happy new year to all , or happier hopefully !I hope that all of your Christmas situations were better than expected and you all enjoyed things better than anticipated . I look back on 2020 as a year of hijacking , unnecessary division , hypocrisy ,self entitlement , tension and anxiety and confusion . Obviously confusion . It has put me off of all sports , made me listen to less radio and made me detest patronising celebrities even more than ever . Plus the people smashing up statues haven't got any covid and are invincible , or so it seems . I'll leave that there ..New Year's Eve wasn't too bad . I watched a live virtual gig by Jean michel jarre at Notre dame cathedral .The rest of the time I have been keeping up the exercise 🏋️♀️🥵, although I missed about 4 days in 2 weeks . I needed to , as at times my health wasn't too good . My speech was deteriorating more often . Even the postman thought I was swearing at him while I was wearing my mask 😷
Crisps still gone . I went out for a walk this morning , for the first time in a while 🐾
I put on my jeans ...just ! That's due to all the excessive rubbish so I have something to aim for now . It'll take a few weeks at least but then again it is winter and I am like a bear in hibernation anyway .🐻 Life is restricted for most of us anyway .
Looking at the flat , I don't think too much needs to be done .Obviousky I won't hear from James . The carpet can wait to be cleaned , as can the oven . Looking at all the kitchen clutter, I'd say if I could get James to build a couple of shelves in the kitchen cupboard , then that job may be all I need there . I will offload the chair beds via fleabay , plus air bed and unused quilts in the spring / summer . I will then replace with a sofabed . I made mistakes but now have a plan at long last and the pip payments will be put to proper use when I can do so .My future is based on assessments . I have to take each hurdle as it comes . 🤞I can still manage and will have less stress as and when I am assessed . I could be a lot worse off .
I received a letter from nationwide about them acknowledging me going into my arranged overdraft . It's a general letter imho and thankfully they haven't decided to stop it .
Being on universal credit , it's quite obvious I would be 🤦. My aim is to not go into it this year . Credit card paid , and will be completed in full when end jan statement comes through . I will wait till may regarding my tax deduction from my sipp withdrawal . I'll ask a question and hopefully the answer goes in my favour . If not , then it's nit the end of the world . I notice on my journal that universal credit hvent asked me about my sipp payment
Obviousoy over worked .
I'll leave it there ...🌨⛄️3 -

Hi Mrs p 😸
Tbh, I think that not much should change due to the corona situation . Obviousky , I should stop procrastinating finally 😸as I have kept chipping away and hopefully things should be manageable . I don't ask for a great deal , which hopefully helps .

Your plan for the year looks good.
You have managed the UC/DWP situation well, taking it stage by stage without allowing it all to overwhelm you and it has definitely worked well for you. I hope 2021 treats you kindly.
You have done great with exercise as usual.
On Thursday L1d1 have kettle bells for £5 each. 6kg and 8kg.I will be buying both in a bid to get fitter!
Open shelving in the kitchen sounds like a great idea.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
