  • The old Apple TV is working well. I managed to have my music collection uploaded to it .
Plus ..only one advert at a time from the old style you tube ! No interruptions !

I still haven't tackled the kitchen yet ! Maybe today ...or not . The bedroom is the best it will ever be . Ditto living room . The rest ..still slow progress but progress anyway .

Regarding exercise , I did a bit on Friday and Saturday . On Saturday I looked at the dvd which came with the stepper . I did a few bits on Saturday , and just now after my walk 🐾🥵. The website has been playing up over the weekend , but I've done more over the last week than I have for some time . I'm due another live session tomorrow with mr trainer 🏋️‍♂️
No call last week from seetec plus ( the work related programme ) . Supposed to be a new coach to deal with now ive been relegated . I still have to do the xcel course . Should do it this week , all going well .
I have had a few warnings from Tesco 🛒and others about Christmas delivery bookings .
I had a delivery yesterday between 8-4 pm and next Sunday the same . I have the 18th of December booked for same time slot . I have a Waitrose slot booked for 19th..or is it 18th as well ? Hopefully , that should be enough to cover everything until after Boxing Day 🥊

I'm still recording on soundcloud and enjoying that ,as and when ☁️🎹🎼🎸

    I'll leave it there ..💨

  • Well done getting a Christmas delivery slot :)
You are doing great with exercise as usual.

  • So, I had a very good workout with mr trainer 🏋️‍♂️🥵. It was tough , but I managed to keep up . The one good and essential thing about having someone like him is that my sessions vary at any time and that means that all bases are covered so to speak . Just when you think you may be comfortable with everything , you will find that  you have a surprise here and there and have to work harder to keep up . Something like that .

My sleeping patterns are still all over the place 🛌😾. Waking up at ridiculously early hrs and then feeling like I don't want to get up at my normal time ⏰
Yesterday , I felt sick until about lunchtime 🤮.

Having said all that , I cleaned up the kitchen at last . The only problem I have there, is finding a place for clutter which is now on top of the cabinets .
I'm probably going to text James tomorrow and see if he can point me in the right direction regarding my situation with the whole flat and see what gives.
I have to make it worth his while of course , but I'd say there is about 2-3 days work at a push . Maybe less , but he will hopefully have an idea about storage issues . I doubt now if things will be as drastic as first thought but we'll see.

Regarding Black Friday , I don't really think that there is much I really need .
Regarding my music / useful gadget situation🎸🎹🎼 , I only need ( or should 5hat be want 😼) an effects pedal and maybe a couple of apps and updates for my Mac and iPhone .
I will get a small shampooer for my carpet , as it will be cheaper than getting someone in and I have a place where it will go . I will eventually get an iPhone se ( selling my present one ) due to the constant updates and poor battery life on the one I already have which is 3 years old . Where has the time gone 🙀. I am on a sim only contract , so buying the phone whenever is the way to go . The sales will be on longer for the forseeable imho due to economic situation .
I received a ☎️call  on Tuesday afternoon around 4.30 pm . I was half asleep so ignored it .
I would say it is the new careers coach at seetec pluss . They know my immune system is rubbish in the later parts of the day so I'll wait until they try again .
Speaking of ☎️Calls . The scammers are getting more persistent . They phone around 7.30in the morning . This is landline ..not mobile . Until I signed up to universal credit I used to ignore the landline completely . Now I just pick it up once or twice at random times just in case but swear at them and put phone down .
I should be seeing my local friend for coffee today/ tomorrow ☕️. Weather should be crisp but sunnyish🌞 for next few days .
    I'll leave it there ..🌞⛅️

  • This crisp but sunny weather suits me.
Great minds think alike on coffee outside.
Just wondering if it is worth storing a carpet cleaner. Even the small ones are space eaters. How often do the carpets need cleaning? Then again I have floorboards and rugs and do the rugs and floor with Kar3her steamer. Would that work as you can use it for other things too?

A couple of good points raised there 😼
In my last home , I let the carpet go somewhat . I was unsettled there also.
I had my brother stay with me on 2 different occasions and periods of time . I also put his boss up for over a year after his divorce . Carpet should really have been changed beforehand but times were hard fo so long . Not shampooed in 14 years 🙀
In my present position , I've been in this flat for almost 3 and a half years . It is very good quality, but there are marks from spillages/ food etc .
I did try a karcher steamer years ago , in the flat before that . I got it from qvc . Absolute rubbish ! I had to keep filling it up and waiting for water to heat up . Plus the lid got stuck and eventually could not come off .
I have a kitchen cupboard where the boiler used to be and my thinking is that the shampooer would go in there should I purchase one . I'd say that they are about the size of an old fashioned vertical hoover . I don't need a great big one . The smaller abd thinner the better . I don't want my carpet to be manky after the short time I've had it and would use it as and when required , but carpet needs cleaning badly .

    Have you considered hiring one?
  • Busy day so far .
I did some more exercise this morning , including using the stepper .
When I was finishing off, my friend texted me for coffee ☕️.
What happened was , his wife and one of his daughters came along as well . All good
We walked to Poole and back 🥵. We went into a couple of shops .
I managed to go to nationwide and pay in those 2 cheques from the council tax .
That turned out to be a pita 🧻. I used the machine outside . One cheque went in ok .
The other did not , so had to queue to see cashier to accept it. Took a while .
Still, a good day so far .
The sun not really shining as promised , but nice and crisp all the same .
    I'll leave it there ..⛅️

I have . 😼However , it's the cost and whether it can be delivered and who do I use .
In the scheme of things , I'd say the cost of a shampooer would be between £100-£150
I do stand to be corrected though 😼

Yes, this is why I asked how often your carpets need cleaning? Others may disagree but I would say it is an annual job. It could be part of a deep clean as a one off annually. In that case a cleaning company could do it. (The Ka3cher worked for me as I was only using it for rugs and wooden floors.) I know you don't drive so picking up a hire may be an issue.

Then again if you have the room it is fine to buy one. But do some research as they differ in effectiveness.
