Thanks PE and DIA 😼
Obviously I was / am in pain and discomfort . I went to bed at around 9.30 pm and sleep wasn't too bad 🛏
This morning I decided to get to the Rottweiler surgery for about 10 mins after opening time 🐕🐕... nothing has changed service wise . I was the only one there at first, and then other people came . The one nice lady was the only one there ...plus the slow dopey pharmacist ! I ended up waiting for over 40 mins , which is just not acceptable . The pharmacist spelt my surname wrong , despite me showing my bank card to ensure my identity . I'll say no more . I'm wondering wha was more painful ..the tooth extraction 🦷or today's experience ..I see that Boris is due to make a speech confirming lockdown for about a month .I did the right thing going when i did.I had a couple of croissants which I cooked in the air fryer for breakfast 🥐🥐
Something at the back of my mind told me, to order some from Tesco home shopping a couple of weeks ago.🛒 . They were frozen . As I have to eat softer food for a while , they came in handy .One thing that was also good ..I still fit into my jeans ! Tbh, I expected not to with the lockdown situation . The football on my belly seems deflated a little too ⚽️I'll leave it there ...5 -
A strange few days ..
Regarding the journey to the new forest , I had to hold on to the rails getting up and down the stairs at the various train stations 🚞
This is one of the major problems of my condition . What is annoying is that back in 2006 in my last permanent job, that was one of the last places where I used stairs all the time. In the positions after that, I mainly worked in glass buildings with no stairs between floors .
I don't know anywhere with steps I can practice on now at another lockdown , but I'll ask mr trainer for some advice when I have a session with him on Friday 🏋️♂️I have been feeling out of sorts the last few days . For example , I had a major lengthy coughing fit on Monday morning around 2am . So I thought to myself that I should take the azathioprine ( immune suppressant ) then . That seemed to work .💊
Yesterday I decided to go for the usual walk. Before I started, my back was stiff and I was walking like John Wayne . By the time I got back, I was sweaty and clammy .
So, of course at the back of my mind I'm asking myself if I have Covid symptoms .🤧🥵
I woke up very early this morning , around 2.30am . 🛏. Felt like crap getting out of bed at 7.45 am but I did and feel better for doing so .
This morning I had a zoom meeting with a few other myasthenia Gravis sufferers on my aware . It's funny really doing it on my iPad, as I think I was shouting initially ( they said I weren't ) 🗣 . Still , it was ok but by the time the session finished , I thought there was more to be said ..
Then the work related chap called . He keeps phoning at different times ☎️.
I was in 2 minds whether to tell him about the wisdom tooth scenario 🦷, but I did.
I let him know the difficulties etc and how my immune system feels now .
The "only " thing I need to do there, is pull my finger out and do that excel test again 🥱
Yesterday was a strange day being out of sorts . One of the reasons was that while watching you tube , I saw a suggestion about John Lydon touring London on a bus.🚌
I know he over does things somewhat at times, but there are times he does talk sense .
The footage was from 2012, and he was basically giving a commentary about how much London has gone down the pan . I was in total agreement with him ,as my first diary was showing all of the difficulties I was having just trying to live a normal straightforward life .
Still feeling ropey , but I have managed to make a little more progress on the cluttered flat situation .One other thing to mention :
When I was up against it back in 2016 , I sold my most expensive bass guitar and some rare tour programmes and one or 2 bits of vinyl 🎼🎧.
I was thinking of selling my turntable and all of my vinyl ( records really ) on a few occasions ,and did list my turntable up for sale on a bass guitar forum back in 2016 along with an acoustic bass guitar . Yesterday I was asked if I as interested in still selling by the respected potential purchasers . I had to think before deciding to keep the items.
However, I do have most on cd anyway , plus downloads . MSE, may say " sell them now"
In the '80s when I first started buying CDs k I did indeed offload some vinyl .If I'm gonna do it, the time is now . The thing at the back of my mind now is the cash cow situation 🐄. For example , motorhead are dead literally . Yet 40th anniversary box sets deluxe etc are being released . How many times can you flog a dead horse 🐎.sorry.
Something for me, to ponder .
I'll leave it there ...🌦5 -
A zoom chat with others sharing your condition sounds like a great idea.
Are you feeling any better now?
I have some vinyl (not loads) I get that they can be converted to other formats but I like them and I am keeping them. not very MSE but hey ho...If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Yeah , it's interesting regarding the zoom conference . When I was talking to the work related chap , he was taking notes while I was talking to him . He thought it was just going to be a brief chat advising me of lockdown etc and wasn't prepared for the additional info I gave him.
Imho, it is good to let him and universal credit know that I am pro active so they would not put unnecessary pressure on me .
I didn't put anything into the universal credit diary , but still log on so that they can see I'm complying etc . Having said that , they're snowed under at this present time for obvious reasons
I do feel better this morning, albeit still waking up far too early
I made a fair bit of headway yesterday rearranging stuff.Today I'll go through the list of stuff that James could do for me
I have to make it worth his while ,plus he may have ideas that may help .I have a Tesco delivery tomorrow 🛒 . 8am- 4pm . I picked that day as 10 pm last week was annoying . I have another delivery on the 13th in the same slot .The sun is shining , and I'll venture out for a walk later on
I may do a workout later 🏋🏻♂️
Of course I have more tidying to do .
I'll leave it there ..🍁🌤5 -
Very sunny day once again 🌞. Nice and crisp too .First day of new lockdown as we know . I noticed loads of traffic this morning🚗🚙🚲🛴🏍 , until around 10am when the Tesco delivery arrived 🛒. The delivery guy said the roads were quiet .I have to watch the druggies upstairs now that we have another lockdown .
In fairness , it all stopped back in July ( I think , after the crap I went through etc)
The only thing he does these days , is smoke randomly outside different times of the night/early morning leaving deposits of cigarette butts outside my small bedroom window.
He has a tendency to look through my blinds at times , and I caught him out last winter and since then close them so he can't look in . One day he'll be gone. 🤞sooner rather than later. Hopefully landlord puts price up and eventually he can't afford it , or him and the his undesireable partner leave for other reasons . I'll stop going on about them now.
I went for walk again this morning . 🐾 I may do some exercise later on , but have session with mr trainer tomorrow 🏋️♂️. I was sweating a bit coming back from my walk . 🥵Finished penicillin , and the pain has died down a lot 🦷. There is still some pain obviously , but far less than last weekend . I did the right thing going when I did .I still have to plough through my decluttering , and one day I'll get there .I'll leave it there for now 🌞...6 -
It is so good that you had your hospital appointment before lockdown
Glad the pain is lessening.
I keep saying I will take a walk early morning and not doing it. I will follow your lead and walk tomorrow morning as it is dry and bright for a few days.
I'm also decluttering under the stairs. Who knows what I will find?
Have a relaxing day especially as antibiotics can leave you a bit 'off'If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Second week of lockdown 2 .Still plodding away . However, today is becoming unsettling . Bearing in mind that other people will be at home when they are normally doing their business , I am alert to the possibilities of the druggy pos starting to get ideas again flouting lockdown rules.
This afternoon he has a vistor ,who brought a cup of tea / coffee plus a smoke outside my bedroom window and then into the entrance to my block . The guy doesn't live here , so has no business here . If any more visitors arrive , I will have to phone police and see if they are interested. It may not happen , but I have to be prepared .Typing this , I noticed the the woman who lives there , plus the other 2 have gone out.
Hopefully I'm over worrying ..I received a call from the wok related chap this morning ( seetech plus) . He has advised me that today was my last day with him . He tried to hang on to me , but there are lots of changes going on throughout the organisation . In February I will be off the list and back to the job coach at the job centre I go . I know I'm going over old ground , but whilst I was doing above and beyond pre lockdown , there is nothing I can do for some time . Obvious really, and I think the changing around isn't really worth it .I had a session with mr trainer 🏋️♂️After my shorter walk 🐾. He is still mega impressed with my progress etc . I had to order a stepper bench as suggested by him , due to my struggles up and down stairs .Apart from that , slight progress has been made with clutter .Everything else, so far so good...
Changeable weather ahead 🌥🌨💦☔️4 -
Good idea re stepper AC
I'm sure you will charm the new job coach too
Fingers crossed all remains well with the neighbours.
Decluttering is an ongoing project for me too. Have a good evening. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them
