Good to hear you are doing well. Lockdown is getting a bit tedious now isn’t it😂.  Never mind, can’t be helped. As you say we just have to stay focussed and positive.

Yes had to change my nom de plume because I couldn’t log in under my old user name.  Nuisance. Not impressed.  HBF??  Well, according to my sister,  apparently I resemble Helen Mirren. 😂. Although her husband, the BIL says I remind him of Stevie Nicks (Fleetwood Mac). 

Can’t see that I look like either myself. 😂🤣 

I’m keeping well and staying busy. During lockdown I have been revamping my kitchen.  Decided to paint the units instead of replacing them. They look fab even if I do say do myself. And it’s saved me shed loads of money. Dead chuffed.  Now attempting my garden.  Hard work but very satisfying seeing it start to take shape.

Working my way through your diary.

Good to see that you are keeping well also. I don't know if you're in isolation as such like me. TBH , I think the worst of the lockdown was the beginning when we were all trying to comply with the rules in shops etc and wary of self centred people being arrogant and stupid . 🛒😷. Plus , everything stopped and routines completely altered for months. I'll leave it there ..
Good to see tha you are enjoying your new home and ploughing through with the refurbishment .  As for my diaries , I'd say that things are more turbulent over the last few months , but like life in general I just have to think positive and hope for the best.
It'll be interesting to see how you and DIA , think of my progress . ( DIA , is reading my first diary )

Great sleep last night . Yesterday., I had a call from work related guy . He says that his offices are opening in July . I don't have to attend there if I don't want to , and tbh I think I'll leave it till August at the earliest .  It's funny when I talk to him , as he has health issues himself and on the phone it sounds like he is in a stable 🐴. He is a very nice chap who does care  about my situation and is very supportive . 

I'm due a session with mr trainer via video today 🏋️. Not looking forward to it , but best to carry on .

Not too much to report. Then again , with me there's always something . 😸
Had session with mr trainer,🏋️And he is more than happy . He often says that if I ever got to the position I'm in now , I should think of it as taking it and look on it as a major victory.
In all fairness, if I got rid of the  belly ( which is much better than it was ) , then I can understand where he is coming from . 

And now the hot weather : 🌴🌴🌵🌵🌵the night before I obviously had ltd sleep
Last night , I did an experiment ..I didn't use the fan in the bedroom . Instead I used the dehumidifier . Better results . I now have that in the living room and will see how that goes
Roll on Saturday ! 🥵

And now the situation upstairs with the flat which is being renovated to sell / let :
This morning I noticed the front door of the communal area open ,with the latch keeping it open . Now this would be fine if there were workmen etc doing something . However, taking stuff to the recycling I noticed there was nobody! So I closed it . 

In the meantime , I printed a sign and placed it onto the area where mail is put:
" please don't throw mail/ junk mail/ food flyers on the floor . Thank you ."
I placed this while there were 2 guys upstairs .( The landlord and some bloke ) . 

What annoys me ( already ) about this bloke, is that there was an envelope belonging to previous tenants . He should have picked it up and dealt with it ..not me ! 

Apparently he is on the board of directors of the block . I'll bring this up at the next meeting . 

Regarding the mail/ couriers etc: Both sets of tenants are lucky that they have me there .
With the family who moved out they left a Pram in the communal area along with bikes , footballls etc . They chucked mail on the floor that was or was not for them on the floor including mine . The druggies have many courier and post office deliveries and are rarely there to receive them when they arrive, leaving muggins here to keep everything in a tidy fashion . 

I'm just hoping I get better people in , in the near future . A family of 5 was too much 
My friend likes the flat and says he'd live here. 

Anyway , I'll leave it there ...

The beaches where you are look crazy but attest to the loveliness of your part of the world

Yes, Bournemouth was and is in the news for all the wrong reasons . 

I think it was blatantly obvious that we would have a few riots and disturbances this summer due to a combination of lockdown , a police farce ( what's left of them after the cuts over the years ), and the changing world in favour of the self entitled etc . If  I were Home Secretary I'd just withdraw police and ambulance services and when the troublemakers really are in trouble they would be sobbing for assistance . I'll leave that there. 

One other thing about people travelling all that way in the heat ..why? 

I'm truthfulness I'm looking forward to tomorrow 🌧💦💧☔️

Hopefully we may get a light show in the sky tonight, although I do worry about the animals who don't like it . 

I've not been going for walks due to the heat , but will resume possibly tomorrow / Sunday 
Not too much to report , except the landlord who's doing up his flat keeps leaving the door open in the communal area ( either him or the electricians ).
I do feel like going up and placing multiple items outside his door on a regular basis , but hoping that my patient approach will result in me having better people living above me than the ones previous . 

I have to get the pip application sorted out. Trouble is , I can't find the scans of all the stuff I did when I applied for lcw
I'll have a closer look today, otherwise I'll have to scan everything all over again .

I feel much better now that most of this humidity has now gone . For a few moments this morning , I thought I lost my original medical life story 🙀. Thankfully , I realised I put them all in a box file . I forgot about that 🤦 . It looks like I've copied a lot of the stuff more than once so the job will be less stressful than I first thought . 

I had a look at the form , and wrote potential answers in pencil on seperate sheets of paper. The idea now , is to check online and see if there is advice on how to answer questions correctly . I've seen something previous ,so will check that out .
I noticed when looking at my LCW application , it looks like I've been assessed for pip already . Then again , I might as well go ahead with this and finalise what I can and can't claim . Nothing ventured etc.

Despite being in isolation , I found yesterday to be a good day . 

I was busy checking energy tariffs , and going through the pip form assessing everything 
The plan today was to fill in form , scan various bits and send .  That'll wait till tomorrow 

Today I heard a woman's loud voice around the hallway . This put me on high alert as to who might be moving in . 

After about half a hour standing outside my door , I saw said woman and a man on their way out . We just said hello , and I said  that I'm looking as to who I'm gonna get living above me . It turns out , the woman is the landlady ! The man with her is her dad . 

I had a chance to speak up , and I took it ! She told me that she used to live there and after having a baby decided to let the flat out . 

Part of my personality obviously doesn't like confrontation . However, if I'm in survival mode as I call it , then I guess I have to stand up to situations . I did that .
I told her that the family of five were too much ( if you've remember my previous posts then you'll know ). I didn't hold back, listing everything . The landlady said she was shocked when the baby became the 5th member of the family . I also mentioned the druggies etc
I also said that , if I'm not happy I'll let the place out to a certain type of people that I'm not mentioning here. She has taken everything on board . I'm hoping that the message is loud and clear . Well I was a bit loud despite the mask over my face . 

There won't be anyone there for a few weeks apparently . 

They have no power. I tore strips off the people for not having their own key , but helped them. The problem being that it's a payg smart meter. Her dad is staying upstairs at the moment . Not sure of him . Then again , he's not sure of me. 

Regardless of Hse or flat , one of the most important things is the neighbours . 

They know now, that I'll be sizing who goes in etc and hopefully things will be okay for me and I can relax . 

I didn't hear any thunder or see any lightning , but woke up around 4.30 am . Not complaining but hoping for a proper downpour . Sad I know ..💦💦☔️
