Okay , what does today have in store for me ....
As usual I was awake far too early . Still the sun is shining ☀️So , I went for a walk .
Apolgiee to vegans etc , but I did something today . I ordered my usual shop from Waitrose 🛒 .for delivery early tomorrow morning . However, on my way back from my walk , I decided to pop into the butchers . 🔪Tbh, I've been complacent for years regarding shopping as I have rarely used them and bought meat in supermarkets etc
so, I removed the meat from Waitrose order, and the idea is to use butchers a couple of times a week. Lady was very friendly and professional . It was a confidence thing with me .
Abit like going to the pub on your own 🍺. My main chore for my mum years ago was doing the shopping🛒
I got a nice email from the managing agents this morning . Not the guy who is in charge who I sent a stern email to about the " plants" 🌱.The managing agents are sending someone over to look at sky dish as it's a communal dish. 📡 I assume I don't pay for that . I had a lot of help from the tech and garden forums about this .The deaf ignorant landlord of one of the flats , had roofing people around today .
He is the guy I voted against being a director of the block . Thankfully he hasn't knocked on my door for anything as I wouldn't open it . No time for arrogant charlatans who try to run roughshod over me .
I had a live session with mr trainer 🏋️♂️ A short while ago . Impressed as usual.
When he phoned afterwards ,he went through my food stuff again .
Now here's a thing ; I can eat bread 🥖...but only if I cook it myself . He is telling me not reall as it may lead to me buying the bread 🥖online as I do .He told me off about chocolate too 😿🍫
However, if I have cake 🍰that should reduce the chocolate cravings etc .Basically he said that I'm 90+% there with everything and if anyone had my condition they wouldn't be training etc. He is just nit picking as he put it and is trying to fine tune me 🎵
I just had a call as I'm typing this . Aerial 📡engineer will be here probabky tomorrow , maybe today but I'm not fussed . Hopefully it won't cost . If it does, hopefully bill will be split .Hopefully that's my 2's and 3's regarding flat issues and that there won't be anything for ages 🤞Window cleaners are here . So, clean windows , monstrosity cut , dish soon to be fixed . Reasons to be cheerful..I'll leave it there ...☀️2 -
Hi, Haven’t posted on your thread before but I would just say that Buddleia is usually cut back hard in the Autumn and will grow back next year.
Hope this helps

Thanks for popping by ,and good advice 😼
I have now found out so much about these vandalising creature over the last few days .
They are monstrous things that need to be kept in check always , or so it seems .
Those and lleylandii ( spelling ? ) are 2 of the worst things ever created .I will be getting a saw and gradually be keeping it down .
Thanks again..1 -
Hello AC,
So much going on in the week since I last caught up. Well done on getting so much done. My life seems very calm and eventful compared to yours.
Good luck when you decide to start baking your cakes.
Take care3 -
Glad your specialist medical appointment/call went well.
I read on another thread that you got the dreaded buddlia sorted too.

Do you like dark chocolate.Interesting podcast here about dark chocolate and cravings, and it’s better for you than cake.

This morning the nice aerial chap came 📡..
He explained everything thoroughly , very professional .,
He changed cable, which was looking grotty anyway and a bit short
Total cost including call out £80 cash! Result I say , as tbh I expected to pay a lot more .
I left positive feedback on Google , plus thanked the managing agents . Plus left feedback on next door .
So, monstrosity removed / clean windows/ dish fixed / no need for sky subscription ..
Had to get up early for Waitrose delivery 🛒. Delivery came without carrier bags !This environmental stuff is not my fault! 😾 The goods should be delivered in the old type brown paper bags like we used to have many moons ago .
This preaching has to stop. Didn't vote this time around , but whoever voted the charlatans we have in power now didn't vote for Boris Thunberg .no carrier bags ,how dare he ! Rant over 😾
Kitchen is a mess, and will be tackled soon . Having crisps , berocca and green and blacks for breakfast 🍫was quite nice . One off though
I'll leave it there ..☁️3 -
