Another one here wanting an AC updateIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Yes, I think it's time for another update 😼..
Well, it's a mixed bag really 🎒On Sunday , I finally decided to get my fingers out and get on with the cake making by numbers 🍰💯.I had a go at making small party rolls to start off with. 🍞 Not a bad 1st attempt but the more I try the better I should get . They were really nice , but I really need to do a proper loaf and if I can do that , it would be an achievement . I had anothrr go yesterday , but tbh the rolls were too small . Hopefully I'll get there .
The cadburys choc cookie mix 🍪 was way quicker and much more successful.I'm going to local bakers shortly to see if they have any fresh cooked rolls left
I was supposed to have a phone appointment with job coach today , but just got a message that it is now cancelled and rescheduled for November .I have printed out the things that I have to address regarding any questions I will be asked .
Regarding finances .. I have been too lapse this year regarding keeping in overdraft limit and building up a credit card debt . 🙀 I received a slap on the wrist email from my bank ( in the olden days it would have been a letter ) basically telling me that they are watching it
Not Good ! This has prompted me to take my yearly small amount of withdrawal from my drawdown sipp early ( next week instead of December ) . This means that I will be debt free next week . I did go overboard buying 2 synthesisers etc so my aim from now on is to keep away from overdraft as much as possible going forward .Regarding mr trainer, 🏋️♂️All going well although I have a horrible pain in side of stomach since Sunday . It could be the bread or my condition . Or maybe I strained while I trained
Still seeing my friend weekly .I have just been caught out regarding the druggies upstairs 🤬
I've done well to avoid them , but I opened my door and the woman has a day off work
I said good morning as she handed me my letter but obviously hates me .
Hopefully that's the last I'll see of them for a long time
off to the shops I'll leave it there .. 🌧3 -
Nice to read an update AC.
Great you are baking, although Cadbury's cookie mix sounds like it is full of sugar?
I really like the approach you take to your condition. You never whinge or use it as an excuse not to exercise. You always make it clear that there are people a lot worse off than you. I hope the stomach improves soon.
Keeping seeing your friend weekly is good.
Funnily enough I bumped into the people from the flat above for the first time since they robbed me earlier in the year, couldn't bring myself to even look at them...
Enjoy your dayIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Thanks DIA 😼
Regarding the druggies upstairs ( I promise not to mention them unless I have to 🤬);
They both work thankfully . I don't know what the bloke does . Possibly estate agent. Possibky a nanager in mc Donald's 🍟. The woman I think is a carer for children .She is quite well spoken . She looks like a charity fundraiser wearing an identity tag etc
As you're probabably aware by now , I avoid seeing them as much as humanly possible
She hates me ( and is probably raging at her accomplice for having the parties)
The bloke asked me for the key a couple of weeks ago, and wanted to talk to me for something being pally . While I was too neighbourly and obliging , I realise that was a mistake . They both know I complained and thankfully no repercussions yet 🤞
The director next door has probably put his oar in there also . The other tenants are good so far , but they may be pally with the others . Anyway , as I say I was after a maissonnette but so far things haven't been too bad .Regarding your temporary " neighbours " thankfully it's only temporary and you'll have the right home by this time next year anyway . As we all know , neighbours( and a fairly decent ) neighbourhood are a huge deal when it comes to moving home .
Thanks DIA for the kind words of my approach to things ..
As a single man who had a routine , I think that after losing so much of that over the years it was imperative to get one back and stick to it if I am to recover and live rather than be walked over by others 🚶♀️🚶in the workplace or otherwise . My philosophy is if you don't have a routine then you are always going to be unsettled and overly stressed and put upon
As for the cakes 🍰🍪..
After doing this , the amount of chocolate 🍫I have had has dropped somewhat .
Waitrose sent me the wrong cake mix but it is chocolate so I had it . Something tells me mr trainer 🏋️♂️will be happy about this when we discuss tomorrow .
As for everything else , the constant waking up really early is still there 🛌
It has been painful for 2 nights . Headaches are up and down 🤕
I do manage to fall asleep no problem most of the time . Thanks to tangerine dream on the ipad 🍊I'll leave it there 🌧3 -

As do I. You are so right about the routine. As you know I took early retirement (as did DH), we went "mad" the first year spending etc., then Covid hit (which was a small mercy as I couldn't go away or spend too much)!
We now have a routine and as you say its exactly what is needed.
Don't beat yourself up about the overspending - at least you have a plan and are able to be debt free. You have also done well in selling some of your possessions - not an easy thing to do.Debt free and Keeping on Track3 -
Yet another broken sleep pattern . 🛌. However, in the very early hrs I cancelled my Facebook account . Well almost ..I've chosen the option to keep the Facebook messenger app which is how myself and mr trainer 🏋️♂️ do my weekly video workout 🥵 plus my Facebook friends are still there
I don't use it much anyway , and I keep getting suggestions for brands and companies I despise . Gilette keeps appearing inspite of me telling them to do one .
They were " a best a man can get " not now 😡 you get the picture 🌅
Speaking of mr trainer 🏋️♂️I had a good workout once again . We discussed the pain Im going through at present , but we have discussed ways that I can still carry on training while avoiding doing certain exercises that may affect it .
He says I'm headstrong . Not sure if that's good or bad tbh . Maybe because I have stuck to my routine and not taking any nonsense anymore if I can help it . Who knows ?I changed the trickle vents on my windows finally . Wasn't such a pane as I imagined .
I also put some draught excluder around my front door 🚪. The communal area can be freezing 🥶so hopefully this will prevent the cold coming through from there
Tomorrow I aim to cut down some twigs and branches from the Buddleia which should have been cut lower by the " gardeners " a couple of weeks ago .
we'll see..
I'll leave it there 🌧3 -

Woke up around 4.50 am 💤⏰
Not a problem in the scheme of things ,as I slept well .
Condensation on the windows 🪟. A sign that things are changing .
The draft excluder on the door worked 🤞🚪
Blazing sunshine now 🌞. This meant I needed to get out and tackle the Buddleia ,and attempt to get it to a more manageable height .I cut down and tidied a lot in a short space of time with the secateurs and saw .
A bit of blood . Nothing painful .Now if only I had garden gloves ..
I think I'll try a bit more next week , and see what way the land lies .The directors in the block haven't seen the change yet .I managed to get all the remaining thick branches cut away grom the windows🪟🪟
A lot was cut from the other side also . It's the height that has still to be sorted
I did some height reduction , but will have to weigh up how much more I can chop down so that a manageable amount grows back in the spring .As I say , it's the wrong kind of plant outside of the windows 🪟🪟.
A plant that attracts birds would be far more suitable 🕊🐦🐧
I did a food shop from Waitrose for tomorrow morning 🛒
Quite a few cake mixes this time . I have been lazy and had their chocolate mousse 🍫🐁
Ive stopped today, and ordered double cream instead . Put that with neaquick and peanut butter into a blender and it's healthier.Regarding food (and drink ) ; I'm trying to find something that acts like berocca
What I do with berocca these days , is I always have it with fizzy water.
I'm avoiding fizzy drinks ( except water) . Orange juice 🍊gives me headaches, so I'm after something that is fruity and fizzy .
On a tangent, I did think of not doing this and have Trebor refreshers instead .
They don't do them in supermarkets online .I also thought of getting a sodastream . Very '70s good idea ?Anyway, I'll leave it there... 🌞4
