It's the photos as much as anything else, we have so many that need organising and sorting. DH wants to keep those from his sales, so they need putting on a memory stick or something."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Hello everyone
I woke up this morning and for the first time in months and months (a year or more?) felt like I had a bit of my old mojo back. It was a nice feeling! Did a bit of housework, a bit of paperwork, a bit of gardening, cut DH and little jwil's hair, a bit of cooking, and sat down with a book as well. I've eaten well today, no bingeing and only one small snack between meals. All of this is a massive deal for me, and hopefully it will continue.
I've been listening to 'Atomic Habits' by James Clear on Audible - maybe it's making a difference!
Work has been very busy, and I've been doing silly hours. I decided enough was enough on Friday and knocked it right back. I have been told I can go back to doing my own work again next week and that is a relief as it's challenging, but interesting, and not emotionally draining. I was stressed and run down which isn't any good!
DH is back to work next week which is a relief, but means I will be working full time at home and managing the kids on my own. I've managed to get little miss an additional day at nursery which will help. She will be in 3 days now (it was 4 pre-lockdown). She's loving being back, and it's doing her the world of good. I'm making the effort to walk there, so it forces me to get some exercise too.
I've made a start on organising the digital photos. I'm trying to remove all the duplicates first. I've got a programme that identifies them for me, and there are thousands of them where I've downloaded them more than once from the camera. Doh!
Hope everyone is well"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee6 -

I've continued over the last two days as well, so long may it continue!
I was back doing my own work today which was nice
DH sold a few more things overnight. There is a half price postage offer on Ebay as well, so additional savings there! I'll have to try and encourage him to get more on if possible, although he's back at work at the moment, so it may be more difficult."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I had a fall the other day. I took the kids out for a walk, and as we got home stumbled at the kerb and went down like a tonne of bricks! I've hurt my hand and leg, both are swollen and badly bruised and have scrapes on my face. The kids were a little freaked out, but were really good. It all seems to be improving day on day, so no harm done thankfully. I was initially worried that I'd broken my hand and was going to have to drag the kids down to A&E.
I've been asked to take part in the national Covid trial, so am awaiting a test arriving in the post. I've no reason to believe I've got it, but like to be involved!
I don't think I've really got much else to report! I've done a few more listings for DH, so have caught up with those. It's been a struggle this week trying to manage everything - educating/childcare and working, but I think that's partly because I've been in pain from the fall too. Hopefully we'll sort a new routine out soon."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
