Oh no jwil! Sorry your little boy got hurt and I'm so relieved your hospital visit was as stress free as possible.
I wouldn't be surprised if you never wanted to look at Ebay ever again!
Really great news about the cheque.

Bet you both got a wee fright.
I think this is series 6 of Bosch, it's really good.juliejim said:Hi Jwil
I didn't realise Bosch was on prime - I'll have to have a look as I like Michael Connelly books too. DH is currently reading The Boy from the Woods by Harlan Coben which is the latest one - he hasn't put it down yet!
Glad little jwil is ok but ouch!

I like Harlan Coben, I'm reading Gone for Good by him at the moment.
Ouch indeed, it makes me cringe just looking at it!
Glad it's helpedAdventureWanted said:Hi Jwil,
I hope little Jwil's eye is better today and isn't causing him too much pain. That's really good news that the hospital was managed well with lots of precautions in place. Thank you for letting me know, it really is a big weight off my mind 😊.

I really don't want to look at ebay again (says her who is currently listing...)

I'm trying to get some listing done for DH. They won't go on until next week, and then with a 10 day listing, it's a while before they go out, so fingers crossed things will be improving by then.
Working today so not a lot achieved otherwise. I'm hoping to finish Bosch tonight, 2 episodes left.

I've been a bit moody the last couple of days, I think it's a combination of TOTM and also just endlessly dealing with people being unreasonable. Of course the vast majority of people are fine, but there are some that just get plain nasty.
Outside of that, not a lot done.
I've been shopping today and went to a couple of places. I managed to get a really good stock up so I'm really pleased and the cupboards are all full again. I obviously timed it right too as the shops were really quiet. I might consider a meat and veg box for a few weeks now that the cupboards are full again. That will save me having to go out and there are a few operating locally.
I've had confirmation today that there are no fees due for nursery this month again, so that's a relief."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee7 -
Great saving on nursery I imagine. Glad you've been able to stock up.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
