Can you take before and after photos of any tidying or de-cluttering you do? As it's easy to forget how bad it was before and just look at what needs doing rather than remembering how much you've already done.
I hope you feel more motivated soon.SSDD23 said:jwil said:Hope everyone is well
I broke my 'no online shopping' rule the other day to order the new Stephen King book. I chose the 'no rush' delivery on Amazon to get the £1 discount, and although it was originally meant to arrive next Thursday, it arrived today, only one day past the prime date. Very happy with that!OH is a huge Stephen King fan so I started reading a few of his books and now tend to read the new ones before he does

I slept better last night so am feeling a bit better today thankfully.
I've split up my working hours today, so that I can do a load of listing for DH around that. I want it all on this week so have loads to do. Hopefully we'll sell some and the stuff leaving will give me a bit of a boost!
There were a load of delivery slots on Tesco this morning, so I have booked one and done an order. I'm spending loads on food at the moment, I keep trying to ensure we've got a well-stocked food cupboard. It's kind of slowly dawned on me (should have been obvious really!) that DH is in an industry that will be one of the latest out of lockdown and he works for a small company, so he's likely to be furloughed a long time, and we shall be very lucky if he has a job to return to at the end. At least by keeping the cupboards topped up, we'll be able to have lean months in the future.
We watched Contagion last night on Netflix. It is quite scary about just how realistic that film is now! Who would have thought that in 2011 when it was made, we'd be living the reality in 2020!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
