Well my Iceland delivery was a little disappointing as about 1/3rd of it did not turn up. I think we've still got enough to last for the week though. I think I'll have to venture to Lidl next time as I will need pull ups and washing powder.
I had a bit of a clean and tidy upstairs today, cleaned all the windows. Other than that another lazy day. I'm working my way through my book stash, so I'm technically decluttering
Back to work on Monday. I did have a sneaky peek at my emails to check whether there was anything major going on. It will be back to the 'school' routine for the kids. It will probably be a shock to the system for us all!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". I read a lot and can easily get through 2-3 books a week normally.
I've just finished White Teeth, by Zadie Smith and a book on the structural geology of Britain. I am alternating between books on the shelf and books on my kindle. I generally have two books on the go at once. Coming up soon I've got the Stranger by Harlan Coben (I'll have to read the book before I watch the series) and 'How bad are bananas' by Miker Berners-Lee.
I started watching the new series of Bosch last night on prime, so I might dig out some of those books by Michael Connelly too as I have them on Kindle.
What's everyone else reading at the moment?
I've also been watching Blackadder with the aim of decluttering the box set once I'm finished.

Morning Jwil, hope you are all ok.
I'm currently re-reading The last Precinct, its a Patricia Cornwell book and I'm working my way through the series of books that she has written.
I have been watching more films recently as I seem to have more time on my hands to sit and watch for longer periods. I have to say I am enjoying slowing down and not having to rush around doing 50million things at once, I've stopped ebaying and I;m seriously thinking of not going back to it as I can now see how much time it took up, not just the listing but, packaging, going to the post office.
Sorry your Iceland delivery was disappointing, hopefully you will have enough to get you through the week xx

I've pretty much run out of my own stuff to ebay and now and thinking very carefully before I list anything now. It is so time consuming and frustrating. I won't be going back to it. DH still has loads to clear and I do all his listing so I'm still on there a lot. We stopped our listings a few weeks ago, and at the moment I'm planning on putting them on again next week. It's lovely not having to be on there and constantly posting stuff. I really want DH to get to the end of his stuff so I don't have to do it any more. I know he won't get round to it as quick as I'd want him to, so I'll keep going until the house is sufficiently decluttered and then I'll hand it all over to him."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Well yesterday did not go as planned. Little jwil fell over whilst on his walk in the morning and smacked his head on a wall, so I spent the morning in A&E with him. He had a deep cut by his eye so we needed to get it checked out. He's had it glued and he's got a massively swollen eye today bless him.
@AdventureWanted I know you were worrying about hospital, but I really cannot complain about yesterday. There were loads of precautions to keep people separate and I was impressed about how well it was managed. Hopefully your hospital will be the same.
Back to work today, it's been kind of nice to get back into that routine actually. The kids did their schoolwork this morning and they relax in the afternoon. I've got a lot to catch up on now though!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Hi Jwil
I didn't realise Bosch was on prime - I'll have to have a look as I like Michael Connelly books too. DH is currently reading The Boy from the Woods by Harlan Coben which is the latest one - he hasn't put it down yet!
Glad little jwil is ok but ouch!

I hope little Jwil's eye is better today and isn't causing him too much pain. That's really good news that the hospital was managed well with lots of precautions in place. Thank you for letting me know, it really is a big weight off my mind 😊.LBM Aug 2017.
