Sorry to hear about OH's job hopefully it results itself soon.  I've always kept a Christmas book and write my shopping list in it.  Then after Christmas  I'd write all the things we didn't open/eat so I'd know it was a waste buying.  I like lists and notebooks
Hope you and your family and your readers have a hapoy Christmas and let's hope 2022 is a good one x
Hope you are keeping well retired, and had a lovely Christmas :)  Definitely hope 2022 is a good one :)

I love the idea of a Christmas notebook, I usually write a list, but didn't this year.  Maybe one for next year!

I had a lovely relaxing day yesterday, I read a whole book and finished two I'd already started.  I also watched the remake of the Amazing Mr Blunden, which was great, I still prefer the original, but it was a close call.  I plan to watch the original today.

Today I plan to mix chilling out and getting some stuff done.  I've taken some beef out of the freezer and will make a casserole using up that and the remaining veg from Christmas day.  We finished the turkey yesterday.  That will be all the leftovers used up.

Still plenty of treats left, but I hope to balance them with eating better generally.  I need to start meal planning again.

Have a good day everyone :)

Yes, it was lovely!  We've done much the same today, just chilling out.
