Well last night wasn't good for me. I actually smashed a plate in a temper. That's very unlike me. I'm lucky it was just one
So now I've got to replace that, as of course it would be one that we are short of rather than one we have loads of!
We are heading to Ikea tomorrow. I want to get a chest of drawers for the kids room (the one they have isn't big enough) and of course, replace the plate. I'd like a couple of lampshades and maybe a floor lamp. None of this is too expensive assuming I get the ones I've been looking at but should make a difference to the house.
We are then going to go to the coast for a walk, so fresh air and exercise!
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney5 -

Looked up some stretching exercises last night and did them before bed. I will try and continue with them.
Cashed out just over £5 on a survey site.
I've got a fair number of listings to do for DH. Must get them done to get more out of the house!"If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney2 -

I hope your knee feels better soon. With you on the weight and SW - I had similar experiences. I need to recommit to eating better too. My weight has been reasonably stable this year - despite enforced inactivity but hoping to improve that. Our sign up session at the gym next Friday should hopefully kick us into gear. Glad that aqua fit is working for you - I may try that again too.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I saw a nice floor lamp in Ikea that I really want. It's £50 and I can't justify that right now. I hope you get the things you want. Ikea is always a nice trip. Boyfriend and I go just the two of us and sometimes we stop for something to eat too.Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

de lurking to say, do some research on ketogenic diet. its completely counter intuitive to what we are told "fats are bad etc" but its the sugar response thats the real bad guy, and when i done it (6st, but with around 4.5st net).
wont say to much else but theres plenty of info on how it works mechanically etc, so theres to research. just a thought. SW etc always raises bells with me coz well your paying into a thing, they have not really got much to gain by you leaving and never going back, just as banks dont profit from those who pay bills off without fees. they are counting on you failing. keto is no club, no payment etc, its simply the mechanical name for the chemical process it gets energy from.

Sorry you're not feeling too great at the moment Jwil. I'm sure the rainy weather isn't helping. Maybe you do need to go back on some type of medication to make you feel better and then you can introduce some positive changes to your health and practise positive thinking (it is something we need to practise I think).
I hope you trip to Ikea was a success and you managed to buy what you needed.
By the way, can you recommend a cheap courier? DS1 has sold an item on ebay but has only charged £1 for postage. It's about the size of a shoebox but very light. I know royal mail parcelforce would be an expensive way of sending it, but maybe you know of a cheaper method. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Hi there, sorry its been a bit up and down for you.
Just catching up. About the wanting to be moving more and feeling a bit heavy and inflexible ( I know we all have days like that) how about some yoga? if you choose the right stuff you can get a real work out as well as it being a great stress reliever. Maybe it will help with depression, surely no harm in trying? .Whats more there are a lot of free YT videos so you dont even have to leave the house/pay anything. I have used the Adriene ones to work on some tricky poses. Message me if you want to discuss - I am a huge fan. Its becoming a bit of a life changer to be honest.
Lots of love and hugs as always
