I loved superstore too and I wasn’t sure it was my thing at first. I’m just rewatching The Last Kingdom. I must reread the books at some point.
Yes, the first episode I watched, I just thought it was going to be naff and annoying, but it really grew on me.

I've not seen the Last Kingdom, nor read the books, but I wonder if I have them on my kindle, I do have some Bernard Cornwell ones on there which I haven't read.

Maybe get yourself a wobbleboard and stand on it to watch TV? :D

thank you for reading, that must have been a slog!
Not at all! I love your positive attitude, it makes for easy reading. :)

By the way, I tried and completely failed to do multi-quotes and still write in between them. How on earth do you do it?! I can now manage to include more than one quotation but it won't let me write in between.

I do exactly as SH says, quote the message, write in between, then go back and quote another one.  It's a pain compared to the old system!

Oh, and thank you :)  I do tend to moan a lot too though :D

    ...right now! :D

You don't come across as a moany person to me. Everyone has hard days and editing them out isn't realistic or fair as they come at cost to you. Not the same as being moany!
    Woo hoo!  It worked 😁😁

Thank you :)  It's one thing I like about the diaries and this forum, it's not like other social media where we just post the shiny happy stuff, it's much more realistic and shows that life is full of ups and downs.

Goodness, it's been a fairly non-frugal weekend!  I must try and rein it in next month.

We had chippy/chinese last night (I paid) and then while we were out today had McDonalds (DH paid, though we also had a £5 voucher).  Remind me about this next time I'm moaning about my weight 🙄

I might have *ahem* browsed a little on audible and amazon kindle deals, and may have accidentally purchased a few items!  I also bought gifts for my friend and her son whose birthdays are next month.

Today I volunteered at Parkrun and the kids both got their 1/2 marathon bands.  We then wandered to go and see the rainbow path, and then went out for a drive.  We stopped at a Wildflower meadow which was absolutely stunning, and then to the beach for a bit.  Lunch, then back home for a quiet afternoon.  I'm trying to do a few more listings and DH has sold a couple of bits.

I think I've got plantar fasciitis in my foot, and it's quite painful.  Its been on and off for a couple of weeks, and I think it's my trainers that's triggering it.  So I might have to bite the bullet and replace them.

Payday this week, and it can't come soon enough!  I need to replace all the pots I've dipped into.  I haven't touched my £1k emergency fund though, so I'm pleased with myself about that.  We have someone coming to look at our TV aerial this week as our signal has been rubbish for a few weeks now.  I'll probably have to dip into it then but at least it's for a reason.
