Hope everyone is having a good weekend.
It was lovely and sunny this morning so I took advantage of it. I walked down to post my RM item and then went into the garden for a bit. I was trying to clean up our patio slabs. We've lived here 11 years and I only realised this year that they are actually colouredThere is so much grime on them. They do look better but I think it will be a hands and knees with a scrubbing brush job to get a lot off. DH also informed me that we have a pressure washer (communication is obviously not our strong point as I had no idea
) so we might give that a go when it's a bit warmer. I never go in our garage so have no idea what's out there, most of it we inherited.
I cleaned the patio doors this morning, then when the sun got to them could see all the smears. Hmm.... will need to have another go.
Other than that it's just been a pottering kind of day, mixed in with some reading breaks in the sun. My kind of day.
DH has prepped a load more for eBay so I will try and get those listed tomorrow.

Pressure washing slabs is great fun but you will need wellies or like wet feet and they do produce quite a lot of water so you really need somewhere for it to go or you end up with a very soggy garden.

We got some magic patio cleaner for ours the past couple of years. You apply it with a watering can and it comes up so nice! Ours looks brand new. It was about £15 I think.4

Dig out the pressureWasher, you’ll love watching the grime wash away or maybe that’s just me 😂😂. I did mines last year, first time In years the difference was amazing.4

I pressure washed ours last year too. It makes a huge difference. The muck will splash over your feet and legs though - so make sure you're prepared. I did mine in the height of summer... wouldn't fancy it in winter - unless wearing over trousers and wellies!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

The pressure washer is quite a fun job! My DH enjoyed cleaning the patio last summer and had great fun drawing pictures before going over all the slabs.LBM Aug 2017.

Thanks everyone
I think we'll definitely give it a go. I'll have to wait for DH to get round to it though as I can't get in the garage as he needs to move all the vehicles. I'll do the Jeyes fluid as well, as it will help declutter something else
We've had a quiet day today. I decluttered a couple of programmes that I've recorded, and then DH set up the video player and watched a few videotapes that have been hanging around forever. That's 5 to go now thankfully.

Hey everyone. It's been a hectic week, but one more day and then a week off, hurrah!
We did sell 23 items this week, so that's another load gone. Most of it was small, so not lots of space but it all counts.
Not much else to report really, it's all been work and homeschool. I hope I'll manage to get some stuff done over the week off.
Hope everyone is well"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4
