I did actually treat myself to a soak in the bath which I don't very often do, I normally just use the shower, so a little bit of actual pampering went on!

I've had a quiet day today. I spent this morning doing the school work with the kids, including PE with Joe (I did a bit, but not the full workout as it was getting a bit crazy with jumping kids and arms flying everywhere
)
This afternoon I had a good chat with my family on the phone which was nice, and finished a book. Annoyingly I had a work call but that was easily resolved.
DH called the vet and they are not doing routine appointments at the moment, so the cat and dogs jabs will be delayed until the end of lockdown. So that spend won't be happening for now. I do need to speak to the dentist to see if they are doing checkups for me and the kids as it's a year since we last went.
My anxiety is rising a bit again, but hopefully it's just because I'm tired. One thing I really struggle with is the constant noise. Chatting, singing, games, tv, radio. I miss just being alone for a bit. DH does take the kids out for a walk each day, but obviously when I'm working I don't benefit from that. I love hearing them all normally, but I really need time alone to recharge periodically. I shall have to try and sort that this weekend.
I've been watching staged which was recommended by someone on here. I've really enjoyed it and have added the dvd to my wish list, in the hope that someone buys it for me for my birthday. If not, I think I will treat myself, as a kind of souvenir of lockdown. Hopefully one day this will all be a dim and distant memory, and it will be a good reminder of how strange the world was for a while!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Today has been very hectic, but I've achieved a lot so that helps. I do like having that day off in the middle of the week. Next week is a short 2 day week so that will be nice.
PADs done. But not much else really."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee3 -

I cashed out £3 from a survey site today and so added that to my PAD for the mortgage.
I'm exhausted today and have just been browsing kindle deals on amazon which is fatal as now I have just purchased some books I don't need right now! They were only 99p each, but those 99ps soon add up.
I've also purchased a new toilet seat, as the one we bought a while ago is just starting to look awful now. Fingers crossed this one lasts a bit longer!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
