Good to hear from you...hope you have a relaxing time away with your DS. If it’s any comfort, my CC balance yo-yoes . I get the balance down so far, then something always crops up which sends the balance rising again. Sometimes that’s how life goes...

CCL just popping in to say that you are never a drag! That's the stress and exhaustion talking.  Agree that a change of scene is just the job! Don't beat yourself up, the cc does go up and down but you are aware of it.  Think of those who mindlessly add to it, not a care in the world!   Lovely to see you posting again love Humdinger x

Morning all...
We have been so lucky with this AirBnB - our Ally chose really well for me. It's on a private road right on the seafront and it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. 
We took a slow drive up yesterday afternoon, via Lockerbie - I went to the memorial garden there - ds had no clue why I was so moved by the whole thing but it did happen 20 years before he was even born. In my previous life before children I was an industrial accident investigator so have a bit of an interest in this sort of thing. 
Got here late enough that all we had time for was a walk to the local shop for supplies and a long stroll down the beach. I haven't slept well but that is nothing to do with the place and all to do with my mental state and need to wind down. It's so lovely here and I'm chuffed that we're here for a while.
Exploring begins today. DS wants to hire a bike. I can't cycle. Conflict ahead already...

Tricycle?  No, honestly, not mucking about, we a couple of people round here who whizz about on their three wheelers.
