I don't tend to post much but have been following your journey and finally caught up after a mse break! I'm in awe of your energy to get all these jobs done, I have great ideas and motivation until I actually come to do them and it all goes out the window. I'm a TA so I'm hoping to get lots of jobs done through the summer holidays before September because I then have no hope.Emergency Fund - £150/£5008

Morning
I am officially shattered today. Think I have read somewhere that the pain of recovery is worse 48 hours after the 'exercise'. My leg muscles are just about seized and my fingers hurt when I bend and stretch them (so I won't do that any more then). I slept very well in my new bed - still not quite on my own as NT2 came up with me and stayed all night. Woke up twice for the loo then got up for the day just after 8.
Excited to get on the scales and see I've lost 5.5lbs! Yes!!! After the unfairness of last week's completely uncalled for gain of 2 - that has gone and then someSo today I'm feeling motivated mentally, even if my body doesn't want to do anything.
Weather is miserable here, pittling with rain, so both my stepdad and my friend have postponed until tomorrow. I'm secretly quite pleased because I'm physically tired but also still haven't finished sorting out my bedroom. I did some of it last night - sorted through my masses and masses of toiletries (I have way more than I thought). Things are starting to find their homes. I still need to sort through my clothes, and my paperwork but there may be an end in sight.
I'm having a day off today apart from going to Mr S - it's a while since I've been proper supermarket shopping and we're running out of a few essentials so I think I might be able to tackle that. Then continue with the rubbish in my bedroom and more naps and early nights if I need it. Fingers crossed today goes to plan - it's going ok so far. The skip was finally collected this morning (just 3 days late then) so that's over and done with, plus the COVID nurse is meant to be coming to do our latest tests for us soon. So we'll wait for that, then grocery shop, then I'll do another hour or two in my room. Can't do any more big jobs until the little jobs are done that's for sure. And there are still more big jobs (my wardrobe makeover, the stairs, the outhouse) so I can't really stop. And it's doing my waistline the world of good.

Don't get me wrong Toni'sfriend - I want chocolate all of the time. Ice cream, drinks, food, you name it. The bonus has been being too busy to stop and eat, coupled with the actual physical work as well. I'm sure it won't last so I'm making the most of it.
I have had mostly a day off today. The COVID nurse arrived about 1pm and then we went off to Mr S straight after that - where I stocked up on golden chicken and curly fries, along with other essentials like bread and milk and a bottle of pink gin for my friend to say thankyou for the help.
Then we had to pop to Funelm. I'd ordered something click and collect, but decided to go to Sunderland store as they were less snobby there than the shop I tried to return bedding to last week or whenever it was. They have a massive clearance corner in that shop too so we had a look, and dd got herself a hot water bottle for 75p and a lampshade for £1. I saw a cushion I loved, unpriced but suspected it would be too expensive as it was Holly Willoughby, even in clearance corner, and a beautiful soft throw to protect some of my stuff from cat fur but also unpriced. I decided to take them to the till to ask about prices and gave myself a maximum price of £9 for the throw and £6 for the cushion - if they said more than that then I wouldn't have it. Got to the till and the brilliant girl there gave me the throw for £4 and the cushion for £1 as she couldn't even find a bar code or anything to type in. Bless her - what a love. I have already taken her name and emailed a massive compliment to Head Office for her. When I asked her name and said why I wanted it she said I'd made her day. Good
Got home and realised I hadn't eaten so I had my reduced gammon steak from Mr S, and dd told me that she would help me finish sorting through my clothes and my room so we got on with that. I'm pleased to report that everything is now completely sorted in there apart from 1/3 of the 4.5m cupboards and a basket of stuff that needs rehoming in the outhouse once the shelves are sorted out in there - short term that needs to stay in my room. The bit of cupboard is on the long term list like dd's cupboard but we will definitely get to it.
Other than that I've definitely had a much needed rest day - I'm still exhausted. I'm just about to shower and head off to my bed - hoping that I'm raring to go tomorrow.
