A win would be nice! Let's hope soMsmoneyspider wrote: »I had a read of your old diary yesterday and wished you well in your brave quest to live "dangerously", authentically. Good to see you re-grouping and forging ahead into 2020. All your targets seem achievable. I think premium bonds are a good plan and you have inspired me to stick away £50.00 a month in them too, i'll wish for a big win for both of us!!

Happy New Year!
So today is a quiet day, cleaning and organising.
I also need to apply for a bursary.
I'm trying a new recipe today. Completely vegan. Heard of jack fruit? Well I will be using it to make a Thai Red curry. Going to make a brown rice and adzuki bean side and I have sprouts galore as they were YS for pennies. So might roast them too. Crazily healthy. A good start and a kick in the face to cake
Yesterday my supper was dropped (have you ever done that?) because I eat balancing my plate and doing other things. So clear the dining room table today so it doesn't happen again!
I do like a NY, full of hope and before things start to go a bit wrong...
I am having an AF and NSD today. Need to get used to both as I've committed to 20 of these a month.
I broke a glass teapot and instead of being upset I was glad as I had always hated the stained spout so why hadn't I decluttered it already? Today I am cleaning a cupboard and will search for items I can declutter.
I'm sure you all having more exciting starts to the year than me, so enjoy

my vegan kids love jackfruit-as burgers, on pizzas - so your meal sounds amazing
decluttering is good. There is a thread " https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6081729/2020-banish-the-clutter " if you want to commit to a certain target, but it is very active so lots of notifications. I have found freecycle (aka freegle) to be quite good. strangely its been better for me in decluttering by responding to "wanted" posts rather than anything I have offered, but we shall seeI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Some fab targets there. Wishing you all the best. I have signed up to 52 bags of decluttering to go in 2020.
@Mark - I like the idea of wanted adverts - may look into that. I struggle with letting things go but respond well to others 'needs'Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
