You're doing the best you can in your various situations DIA
You've probably heard me mention acupuncture somewhere in my diary or yours .
Times are hard etc, but a few sessions will go a long way .Hope counselling goes well .Hope you get some luck with the house bid . You are in a better position in terms of being ready to pounce for the right one , and who knows if other bidders are as well prepared as yourself ..or not .You'll get the right one eventually .I'll leave it there ..😼7 -

What will be will be and I've everything crossed for you as you're in a good position as a buyer 😃
Thanks @beanielou I too think the stabilising of the housing market is overdue
Thanks @another_casualty for your vote of confidence. As you say I am doing the best I can in all areas I am dealing with.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

First things first. I did not get the house.
Someone bid over the asking price. It needed a lot of work and although I would have been pleased to do it for such a lovely home it is not to be. I would not be happy paying more as it is overpriced for the area especially when all the work is factored in. This time I did not carried away or over attach so I am disappointed but ok and ready to move on.
Counselling was great. The counsellor is lovely and I will be going weekly.
I spoke to the acupuncturist and will try out a three week session to start with (@another_casualty this is free for me as a family member of a relative in the hospice) A referral has been made...
There are new issues with the flat so I will need to get things started so I will do this first thing tomorrow
I made some fab soup today
I cycled to and fro to have a NSD but I also enjoyed the exercise
I feel ok for someone who did not get a house she wanted...
Hope you are all ok too.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Sorry you never got that one, but the right one is out there, you just need to wait for it to go on the market.
I'm pleased the counseling went well and acupuncture is on the cards, both are good for the mind, body and soul.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.7 -

Thanks @MovingForwards I also believe the right one is out there somewhere. I just need to stay positive.
Thanks @beanielou acupuncture will help my stress levels but may be helpful for some of my other health issues too. @another_casualty also speaks highly of it. I'm looking forward to it.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Shame about the house, but well done for not getting sucked in to overbidding."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee6
