Glad you had a great and well deserved weekend DIA 😼
Times like that , make all the difference to your well being and is essential too .
I'll leave it there ..😺5 -
Today I have already dropped off the little one at nursery and had a catch up with my sister.
I have also been to Lid1 where I picked up a £1.50 veg box. I will be making mushroom and lentil soup as there was a punnet of organic mushrooms. There were 2 punnets of blackberries in there so I had one of those with yoghurt for breakfast. Loads of other goodies in the box too. Two soft avocados will become guacamole later.
I'm also eating cake (for breakfast!) as I made a flourless Elizabeth David chocolate cake that I love. Not making it again as I eat too much of it!
Lady Luck is with me as I have had a few more PB wins! 2 of £25 and one of £100. Half of each win will be saved.
I'm off to the hospital now, but I won't have to do this after this week ends
My frog today (just one) is to get a form completed and sent off.
Wishing you all a positive week ahead

Well the sending the form frog has been done, albeit a day late.
Relative is back home.
I found a brand new flat double sheet brand new in unopened packaging. It was £20 but I got it for £8 in a CS. Really pleased, so now I have 2 good sheets for relative. I found a beautiful fabric purse too. I gave that to my sister. You never know with her, but she loved it.
Soup and salad today. I could still cut my food bill down but hey ho, not going to beat myself up...
Nights are getting muggy. I'm thinking of a fan from the man who also designs hoovers but they are so expensive! However, I said that about his hoovers and i wouldn't be without one now, so...
I found out my fellowship due in July will have to wait until after September due to C19 rules in Scotland
I bought some aftershave for a godson. It is his birthday tomorrow so he has a birthday tea on his mother's allotment
@in_need_of_direction has been talking about weight gain and I am struggling to lose weight too. I hope I have not crept into the obese zone. As she says, it is such a ugly word...
I'm doing rubbish at spending less. I joined a NSD thread. How many do you think I have had this month? That's right. None.

Hope relative settles back in quickly.
Gifts sound great, always nice finding bargains.
The fans have good reviews, it would move with you, but is a lot of money for something not used all year round.
September isn't too far away and it's worth the wait!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.5 -
All still sounding good DIA 😼
I got my dyson when I moved , and although expensive I am so glad I did . I got the larger one ( the tower). I got it from qvc of all places as they always seem to promote them.
As well as cool air , the hot air was a life saver when my boiler packed up so it had more than one use . I'm not really helping ..
As for the weight , I still say you should weight until you're settled ( sorry😺).
Regarding the muggy weather ; we were warned, but I woke up at 2.45 with a raging headache . I hate humidity . So about 2 hrs after I took ibuprofen💊💊I was ok.
I've just taken ibuprofen before bedtime 🛌. Plus I've got the dyson ready .
I'll leave it there ...🥵7 -
I love the look of those fans, but can’t justify the spend. If I could, I would!
for the NSD’s I find calling early helps. Once you’ve said it you have to follow through...or creep back and explain 🤣Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien
