How rude of the estate agent!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee6

Rude and also not very professional. I thought they had an ethical obligation to inform the buyer of every offer. Not that it seems they all stick to ethical behaviour.Every time I think the market couldn't get any madder, it somehow does.Debt free May 2016... DFW#2 in progress

Very snotty of the estate agent. The housing market seems to have gone a bit insane at the moment, so it's best not to be rushed into anything. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Buying is all about how much a property is worth to you, regardless of it being fixed price, OO, OIEO or some other format. Don't take her comment to heart.
People are still hoping SD will be extended, again, but when it's finally ended things should start to balance out as a lot have jumped now. The remaining ones are waiting for it to calm before looking.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.6 -
Sorry to hear that the EA was so rude and the house had gone, but as others have posted, hopefully the current madness in the housing market will subside soon. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

The market is absolutely mad as we know for the moment . Not sure how long you are able to stay in your present accommodation , but hopefully long enough to secure something . In the meantime you can still get valuable info on the area(S) that you want to settle in by exploring more often if possible .Keep going ..
In a way I am lucky as I have somewhere to stay whilst I am searching. I am also narrowing down the areas I would like to live in.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I wasn't too upset by the rudeness of the EA. In a way I found it amusing. The overheated market has also overheated their brains and given them an overinflated idea of themselves.
I agree @HairyHandofDartmoor, I'm not going to be rushed into a decision in this climate. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Today I went to visit a friend and I also picked up my redirected post that thankfully had arrived. We sat in her beautiful garden and had cold drinks and a good chat.
I had a day of no joint or muscle pain and I really enjoyed walking in big strides and feeling confident in my body. I am keen to have some more pain free days so I prepped some healthy food so I have no excuses for not eating well.
I have had a few days free of the hospital and nursery runs. I start again tomorrow but that is okay as I am feeling rested
I have made or prepped the following:
Tahini and orange dressing
Black bean, carrot and beetroot burgers
Veggie soup
Chicken stuffed with spiced split peas
Zaatar roasted vegetables
Raw salad box
I hope you had a good day too.

I won £100 on the PBs. This is already more than I could have earned in interest after a whole year on my bank's rubbish savings account. The money got swallowed up in everyday spending. In future any little windfalls will be 50% saved and 50% spent
It is raining, such a big change from yesterday!
I did not eat all day as I went straight to the hospital from nursery drop off, so it was fabulous to walk in this afternoon to the slow cooked chicken I turned on at 7am
Plans for the rest of my day?
Make veggie soup
Wash my hair
Have a bath
