Thanks @beanielou and @MovingForwards My plan is a relaxing weekend

I will be washing my hair, buying some nail polish and painting my nails...A paper, a walk, a few phone call, reading my book. A very chilled, slow weekend
Cooking turtle beans in the super-duper multi cooker. The first time I've done it. I'm also cooking a batch of veggie soup. Later, quinoa, beans, turkey and lots of greens.
I'm going in search of chocolate covered salted almonds as my new naughty snack of choice.
Just realised how much of what I have written is food related

Today I met a friend. We sat outside (obviously) a restaurant and had tapas and wine. It was my treat as this is the friend who drives to look at houses with me and won’t take any money for petrol. We spoke with strangers at another table and watched people going past. We went to a really good secondhand bookshop and I bought lots of great books. Then we had tea and shared some cake, also part of my treat. I have so missed these simple pleasures…
I went to the hospital and one of my nephews whose birthday I missed was there so I took some money out for him to buy a treat too. So today I spent just over £100 and that is a lot in one day but I don’t regret any of the spending. Being MSE isn’t about being mean, it is about spending consciously to me.
I also met someone who reminded me of what I do (creatively) and that made me aware and feel guilty as I wasn’t doing it. I felt bad about that so I do need to get back on track.
Tomorrow I have the nursery run, laundrette and I must find a way to do some work too
I’ve had a good weekend, lots of rest and I am ready for the week ahead. I hope you are too.

Sounds like money well spent to me and that is 100% what it's for - to enjoy.
Glad you had such a fantastic time. Really helps to melt away some stress, so that in itself has got to be worth what you spent 😂😇Grocery challenge Feb £107/£100-epic fail due to cake and biscuits
