Good news about your relative.
I've never heard of Elizabeth Strout before so just had a look, and her books sound good, so I've added some to my wish list - thanks for the recommendation!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Your pampering sounds divine and so glad it's given you a boost. I do like a nice eyebrow session myself 😁
I really think when you find the house you will know its the one and you will love it from the off. It's good to take your time with such a big chapter in your new life.

After yesterday I told my Sister I needed an 'at home' day. I went to the laundrette, made stock, made soup and other healthy food. I sorted out a bill. Other than that I read and had a few chatty phone calls. I could have gone out with a friend but felt too tired. Still do. Off to have a relaxing bath and an early night as I will be taking a little girl to nursery in the morning. I hope you all had a good day.

Thanks @MovingForwards
Today I walked through the park twice and did my 18 flights of stairs when I went to the hospital. My relative was doing well so I will not be going tomorrow (my sister will go and so will my BIL so it isn't essential for me)
The time I had for myself started at 5pm, so the day has gone very quickly. I plan to clean up the kitchen, prep some soup and then just chill...
I bought some spirulina. I used to take it. It tastes revolting but hey ho...
Meeting a friend on Sunday for some lunch and a mooch in the local shops.
