I went in search of flowers today. Treated myself to a small bunch of pink roses for a few pounds. Then I had a knock at the door and a friend sent me flowers for Christmas. Lucky me
So flowers in both living and bedroom now!
A soup maker I had my eye on at the start of the year for £80, then went down to £50 and was on sale at £25. It isn’t essential but without the cooker it will come in handy and encourage me to eat more veggie soup. The soup maker also makes smoothies. All good
The house cleaning is progressing. Not there yet, but progressing definitely
I have a few essential snail mail letters to do re finances. FROG.
I had a credit report I applied for come through today. All good there. I hadn’t done this before but was alerted to do so by a fellow MSE pal.
All clothes and shoes now decluttered. I’m ready to let go of some china next but that means going into the garage where some boxes are stored. A HUGE frog but I know there are some beautiful cream plates stored in there. I can’t wait to get rid of the brown ones I currently use.
A gloomy rain-off-and-on day.
I might create a reading corner and start a book a friend gave me for Christmas.
Hope everyone is okay.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

One in and one out for clothes is something I practise too. I also don't keep things I haven't worn for more than a year including things which don't fit. Last year I had clothes in 4 different sizes from 10 to 16 but I have got rid of things which don't fit and resolved that if I can't fit into my clothes then it is a sign I need to lose weight so only 12 and the odd 14 now. Not been in size 10 for years now so think it is time to let those go.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. Runs in and raises hand to say " I have not steamed or cleaned the floors yet, not sure this is going to happen here tbh.
The soup maker sounds fab and I'm a total sucker for flowers. I love that you treated yourself to some pink roses.

@moneyonmymindsam the floors are still not steamed. I should be ashamed but I'm somehow not. I will do them in the end...
