I tried the curly girl method where I washed my hair with conditioner. I have since gone ‘low poo’ where I use a sulphate feee shampoo. My hairdresser said my hair was really oily and she hates the curly girl method. A sulphate free shampoo is a good compromise if you don’t want to give up shampoo completely.
Like Martin Lewis, I have been spending a little bit online. I tell myself I’m helping the economy🤔. Lockdown has been pretty cheap for me so far as I have been kept busy with work. I have also been reading more books/magazines from the library and learning a language, so I haven’t had much time to think about spending money. When I do look, there isn’t much that interests me anyway.

I'm keeping Amazon in business, with the help of Mum 😁 Between us we've ordered loo roll, soap, shampoo, pallet of chick peas, frying pan, Mr muscle drain cleaner, n cleaning sprays. God we lead such exciting lives at the mo 😂😂😂"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Good Morning Lovely Ladies
Good to hear you are all doing so well and keeping safe and healthy.I'm keeping busy, enjoying the lovely weather, dividing my time between painting and gardening, I too have gained a little weight. My own silly fault, comfort eating and wrong food choices, quite cross with myself. Anyhoo, I have now got a grip and am back on track.Struggling a bit with neck, shoulder and my right arm......so not much typing today but still reading along. Not much news apart from that, just hanging in there. 😂6 -

What shampoo do you use?5 -
Funnily enough I was chatting to my daughter and she said she had gone for the 'curly girl' look with sulphate free shampoo and conditioner sorry I don't know what shampoo she used though.
I have had to give my fringe a trim this week and had to give in and order some thinning scissors from Amazon otherwise my hair's looking ok.
I'm impressed by everyone who is venturing out to do shopping, I absolutely hate it at the moment, most people are fine with social distancing but some !!!!! I suppose I will have to be a bit braver as it looks as though we will be doing this for months as Dr Chris Whitty said in the daily briefing.
After not watching much news I am really interested in the daily briefing with the actual experts as this is when you get the actual facts.
Had a Tesco delivery this week which was pretty good as the only thing missing was flour but I have enough for now.
We have a good local fruit and veg wholesaler who delivers locally for free so I will probably have another delivery from them next week.
I must admit like you maman I am seriously thinking about a new sun lounger, we have one steamer chair (which tends to have moments of collapsing !) and plenty of other garden furniture but a nice comfy sun lounger could be on the cards.
The thing that I have been enjoying is talking to my grandchildren on Facetime, 2 live around 20 minutes away and the other 2 around and hour and a half. We see them all regularly but I have never talked to them so much on the phone, they have their moments like the 4 year old showing me the inside of his mouth and trying to lick the ipad ! My GD who is7 has been writing me a story every week with a picture and posting it to me, I said one wall of my kitchen will be covered with her pictures by the end of this.
Well another beautiful day, the washing is almost done so I'll be heading out for a coffee in the garden, stay safe and well everyone.

Another glorious day here. I really does help.
I'm finding that it's the staff In supermarkets that seem to be the most unaware of social distancing maisie. Obviously they're focused on their work but they seem to be moving around the store almost oblivious of customers. I can generally avoid them in a large store like Sainsbury's or Aldi but in our little Co-op it's much more difficult.
I like some lather too Wednesday. That's why I prefer a face wash type cleanser to creams or oils. While I haven't used ordinary soap on my face since I was a teenager, I've always used some sort of face wash. My current favourite is a Clnique one. It's relatively expensive but it only uses a pea sized quantity each time so it lasts well.
I'm still following the daily press briefings. Mostly I watch them live as I like to see the body language. There's a big difference between the 'experts' and the politicians. I'm not sure that Chris Whitty was expected to be so honest yesterday about the potential duration of the social distancing practices. But now it's out there and parliament is back in session then I think we'll see more open decision making.
Today I need to do a manicure as my nails are getting really long again. I'll probably do it this evening while sitting on the sofa. I've also got to do my meal plan and weekly Aldi shop. Hopefully we'll combine it with a bit of a walk. I'm pleased that the police advice has changed a bit so that we can now drive a short distance to exercise. We're fortunate that there are many parks and open spaces within a 15 minute drive (especially now with so little traffic) from home which gives far more scope to ring the changes where we'll walk.
Take care all.

Well I'm impressed....
Woke up feeling a tad uncomfortable. By 9.30 realised I had a UTI 😞. Rang surgery, nurse rang me back within 5 minutes for a telephone consultation. They emailed a prescription to my nearest chemist. Picked it up at 11.30. Two hours from start to finish.....amazing service.Just going to rest today.8 -
