2. On the toolbar of the post, there is an icon with a sun and mountains. Click that and you should be able to select photos saved to your device.4 -
Thanks Chanie. That's really helpful. I think I've cracked step 2. I just need to figure out how to rotate some of the images because they are coming out sideways on. I need to experiment.5

Morning everyone. I'm pretty chirpy this Monday morning and rearing to go (even though I am working from home). The children are still asleep, so I'm making good progress before they wake up. I had a big clear out of unopened post yesterday, which I shredded, recycled or filed. It feels amazing now that it is done.
My task for the week is now to decide what we are going to do about our summer holiday to Spain. We paid a deposit, but the rest is due to this month. We booked it as a package with a major high street retailer. I need to give them a call to discuss options.
I hope everyone is well5 -
Hello Ladies,
My sister R also ended up with corona virus leading her to get double pneumonia. Thankfully she has recovered and has bee n allowed home today.
I am so thankful for my local Lidl stores. I am finding them very well stocked, so even though I have always been someone that lays down stock in my home to cushion my family against financial crises beyond my control. Although this is a viral pandemic that has changed life so much from what we were all used to, social distancing shopping is really working for me in Lidl stores. It is also an added bonus that I am saving money on really great quality food.
SFT I did not use a recipe for the pork loin chops and no I did not use the pepper to stuff the chops. We will be having the last of the chops for dinner tonight. Really looking forward to eating them again, as they taste so good.
Maman my life is too short to make my own gravy. I use Bisto Best. I am personally loving the series Belgravia, great escapism.

Glad to hear your sister is on the mend and allowed home. It's really heartening to hear about people recovering.
Good that you're feeling energised this morning chanie. It can't be easy to manage the children and work from home but you seem to be fitting it round them. It reminds me of when my DDs were little. Being a night owl, I used to work long into the night while they were in bed.
As the days go by, I'm finding that people are getting the message about social distancing. This morning we decided to combine our shopping with our walk. We walked to our local Sainsbury's and I got some bread while I was there. It meant I could have my preferred brand which isn't essential but it gave a purpose to our walk. There was a queue outside, all standing 2m apart. They only allowed 1 adult in from each family so DH had to wait outside. One couple got to the front of the queue (equipped with granny trolley) and when told of the rules they just walked away. I thought that was odd??
I gave my fringe a trim this morning. I only took a tiny bit off just to keep it out of my eyes.
I couldn't help noticing a nice sundress I Sainsbury's this morning.
There was nobody even browsing in the Tu section (assuming it's OK to buy non foods??) but I saw it as I passed by. Before this 'lockdown' began I'd started using an exfoliator and some fake tan to get my arms and legs looking good for the summer. Now it seems any sun I get will be in my own garden.

sugar sorry to read about your sister as well. I wish you both a continued recovery
Maman I'm lark, so I'm up early and I work better in the morning. I have been trying to start work at 7am so that I can get a head start before the children wake up. OH is an owl, like you and would stay up all night if he could. It worked well when the childiren were babies as I would go to bed early and OH would do the late shift and I would do the early morning shift.
I'm not sure that people in my part of London know what 2 metres is I went to Lidl and feared for my life. Unlike Tesco/Sainsbury's the aisles in Lidl are relatively narrow and people walk all over the place. I tried to keep a good distance away from people, but many weren't doing the same. I remember queuing to pay and I kept a good distance between me and the lady in front. Then, another lady jumps in between to shop and touching loads of packets of food, picking them up and putting them down. I was really annoyed as it was all sweet breads like crossiants and waffles. She could have wait unedtil I moved. I would have waited and kept my distance.
I've had a pretty productive day today, workwise. Last week was a struggle, but hopefully I'm settling down to my new 'normal I do like working from home regularly, but I don't think I could do it all the time, as i need people around me.5 -
Various headbands on order of different descriptions for Covid Chic problems with getting haircuts.
Has anyone else totalled up their Covid expenses to date (ie for things they wouldnt buy normally)?
Now a couple of the things were "normal" purchases that I hadnt got round to/was hoping to avoid - ie bags to store "quality" jumpers and cedar ball things to protect from moths. But others were definitely "Covid Expenses" (ie those headbands etc - as I wouldnt have bought them by choice).

I did buy some shoes on 2for1 but I'd have bought them anyway if they'd had a sale this summer. Otherwise I'm probably spending less as no eating out and very little fuel. Oh, that's except for some hugely expensive eggs (£3+ for a dozen) in Waitrose last week! 😁6
