I was on the John Lewis website to see when our local one was opening, and I spotted that they're doing live virtual masterclasses via Zoom. Some you have to pay for, but there's a Style one called "Style for Less" that apparently features the best of their clearance products, and it's free. You can also request a free personal styling session after the masterclass. Thought it sounded really good: something different to pass the time and hopefully get my fashion juices going again.

chanie you're right about how important good skincare is - my mum drummed it into me from around the age of 11 or 12 how important it is to look after your skin with proper cleansing and moisturising. I even got my DH to start moisturising properly when we met and now he wouldn't be without his face moisturiser. 😊

My sister is a make up artist and she tries all the new treatments for skin care/hair removal/hair extensions/lashes, you name it. She has been getting botox in her forehead and around her eyes for the last few years and she's 2 years younger than me. I don't think she really needs it but she's adamant that she does. I was talking to a girl in her early 20s at our work christmas do and she was saying that loads of her friends get botox and fillers and it's just normal to them. I was a bit like 😱 because I'm about 15 years older and I still think I'm too young for those treatments. 😂 Maybe I have a magic mirror. 🤔

Regarding the eyebrow dye, I have very dark eyebrows and spotted a couple of white hairs recently so that might be something I'll need to look into at some point. I just plucked the ones I spotted. I've also noticed a few white hairs on my head - I swear I never had them before having children. 😂

Maman I'm missing just browsing in shops (not that I often get the chance as my DS turns into a devil child if we set foot in a shop) and getting out to meet my friends for lunch minus the kids.

I also have a gift voucher for my beauty therapist that expires next month. 😩 I'm not sure if she'll honour it as I did have 8 months to use it prior to lockdown. 🤔 I just hadn't got round to making an appointment and was actually looking to do it in April. 😩  Maybe she'll extend it for a month for me, I'll just have to ask once she has reopened and I can get an appointment.
