That's good to hear pixie. Do post when you can.:)

I've been thinking about the treatments chanie. I suppose I was thinking of new habits like massages and facials. If I was to include my eyebrows, feet and possibly my hair all of which I have done regularly then I'd easily reach 20. And although I haven't had my nails done professionally for a while I will go back to it but not so regularly as my nails have definitely benefitted from a break from shellac.

I did manage a walk in the end yesterday. I went out to drop off a parcel and called into the little Co-op. What I wanted was out of stock so I decided to walk (uphill:() to the next branch. I know it's doing me good as I feel a little breathless and can feel my calves when I walk very briskly. I did this a few years ago and measured it by time. After a while I realised I was getting further so had to extend my routes.:)

I'm out dancing tomorrow. I'll probably wear the blue velvet vintage C&A dress. :)

Well definitely don't feel fab today, have been hit by the lurgy - sore throat, blocked nose, wooly feeling head and running a temperature :( hopefully it will pass soon. Plus my skin has decided it hates me so I have 2 huge spots, one on my chin and one on my nose :(

Yesterday I went to a spin class, really enjoyed it so plan to book more once the lurgy has passed.

    Good morning lovely ladies.

misstara....sorry to hear you have succumbed to the lurgy as well. It's been nearly 3 weeks now and I'm still not feeling that great. Never mind, this too will pass.

I ventured out on Thursday because I needed to do some food shopping. I decided to go to Asda instead of Aldi because Asda have loos. I'll spare you the details but let's just say I made the right choice.:rotfl:

I've stayed home since. I've tried to use my time productively. I have been decluttering and am now back on WW.

The only way is up now........I'll get there in the end. :D.

Have a great weekend y'all. Mine will be quiet, some more decluttering and just generally pottering about, I'm keeping up with the house ok, doing the routine stuff and keeping on top of things but once I'm better and have a bit more energy I really need to "bottom it out" as we say up here, it really needs a good shakedown.

Hope the poorly ones feel better soon.

    Keeeeep fabbing.
  • I had a lovely time the other night. The vegan food was probably the best I've ever had. I had the vegan fish and chips as I read that got the best reviews online and it came with a vegan version of tartare sauce and some mushy peas. I had lager to go with it and it was all delicious. I'm definitely going back there to eat again.:)

I defuzzed in the bath last night and I am using one of my face masks now.

The hairdresser had to cancel last week so I am having my hair cut on Monday.

I did a batch of clothes dyeing yesterday, olive green this time. I asked my husband to buy me a few white tops from a chazzer to go along with the things I already had to dye. He bought me a M&S polo shirt and I had read that it is apparently meant to be fashionable for this year? It came out quite well. One top had a couple of stains on it that showed up after I dyed it so I will keep that as a bedtime top for now.

I hope everyone has a nice weekend whatever they are doing.:A

Interesting that you've done some olive green dyeing Wednesday. I'd really like to replace an olive green jumper that I've got but can't find the colour anywhere.

I made up for missing my Thursday walk by going today instead. It was another of the organised 'health' walks that we have all over the city on various days. It was a slower pace than I'm used to but enjoyable all the same. With that and an evening dancing yesterday I'm keeping up my exercise. :)

I'm meeting a friend for lunch tomorrow, just a casual meet up in a caf!. Definitely smart casual but I'll look at the forecast to decide how much I need to wrap up.:)

Hope all those suffering are on the mend. :)

That is the problem I used to have, I would want a certain colour but couldn't find a top I liked or I would find a colour but didn't like the style. That is why i started dyeing clothes.:)

Oh by the way Maman, I don't know if you got a weighted blanket but I just got an email from Mumsnet about the popular recommendations on there and people rate the John Lewis weighted blanket at £60.

    Good afternoon lovely ladies.....

Welcome Mama.....good to have you aboard.

Well finally, I've kicked that wretched virus into touch and am feeling human at last.

Ive been decluttering and today managed a tip run and also a bag for the chazza. Picked up a bit of bric a brac to go with my new colour schemes, including a gorgeous piece of Caithness glass £2..wahoo.

Have booked a hair appt for next week. Doing ok with WW - 2lb off so pleased with that. Not gone back to classes just doing it myself. I reckon 11 lbs to go and I'll be about right. Anymore and I might be too scraggy. Aiming for Easter.

Hoping all are well. Keeeeeeep fabbing.

That's good news. It's really dragged on.:(

That's exactly the weighted blanket that I bought Wednesday and DGD loves it. :)

Just back from lunch with my friend. I wore my William Morris print tunic top with leggings and knee length boots and got compliments.:)

It's my art group tonight, looking forward to that. It's a miserable, wet and quite cold day here so I'm glad I've got things on to stop me thinking about it and keep SAD at bay.:)
