I may have missed this being mentioned, but have you seen the monevator site? Lots of interesting investing and FI articles, discussion, etc.

Hi Grogged, I've heard of it but never investigated. May put it on my holiday list for keeping busy while I am not on my road trip!

So, after my telling-off from Jessy yesterday, I made the soup! I had a sudden epiphany that, while I didn't have enough containers to store the extra portions, I did have enough bowls to just put the portions straight into and store in them. It wasn't very nice 😢 Going to try and jazz up the remaining portions with some extra seasoning bits when I re-heat them, but either way it will feed me for a few days. I will not let it go to waste! Actually, it's probably a good thing that none has made it into the freezer, as I would never have wanted to take it back out again and it would have just sat there looking at me every time I opened it, playing the Soup Of Shame role. I do not need that in my life 😂!

I feel your pain about naff soup SC, have been there, done that. Bit of chilli to pep it up perhaps?

Well done for making it though. Jessy’s stern side amused and surprised me, but it obviously works!

Thanks Vix, the second portion was much better and I did indeed put some chilli in it! Knowing me, I'll have cracked the magic combination of seasonings by the time of the last portion and then decide I want to make it again 😡!
