Wasn't me who mentioned cheese - although cheese does freeze well we go through it so quick that there's little point for us lol - but the reason I put the flour in the freezer is to kill off any flour weevils/eggs. In the grand scheme of things a few weevils in the flour is probably neither here or there, but I've definitely got a bit of a thing against bugs in food ever since I went camping with Girl Guides as a young teen and discovered earwigs in my cereal the next morning

Whoops - I was sure you'd said something about mozzarella? *scratches head, but can't be bothered to go back and look*coldcazzie said:Wasn't me who mentioned cheese - although cheese does freeze well we go through it so quick that there's little point for us lol - but the reason I put the flour in the freezer is to kill off any flour weevils/eggs. Urgh on the earwigs, I used to have them in my old flat before the bathroom was replaced (unbeknown to me/landlord the shower had had a slow leak for years and rotted the floor underneath - only came to light when I had a shower and it came pouring through his ceiling two floors below. I was in there ages as well, as I was shaving my legs 😂). Finding one crawling across my bed was bad enough, but in my cereal would have put me off eating it for life 😯!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

My freezer is full of cheese, so it could have been me

(Actually, it's not that full, but mozzarella, halloumi, feta, ricotta and mascarpone currently feature.)5 -
Aha! We've found the Keeper Of the Cheese 😀 Thanks greenbee, it was you - I remember the halloumi now!
Brain now addled by thoughts of tasty cheese....mmmm....Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

And I blame you for the fact that I ordered 2kg of cheese earlier...South_coast said:Aha! We've found the Keeper Of the Cheese 😀 Thanks greenbee, it was you - I remember the halloumi now!

£7.35 in from Prolific and have paid off the credit card 😀 Have discovered that additional payments reduce the minimum payment with this card, rather than being seen as "additional" payments (BF's new card is like this as well - never come across this before, but suddenly I have two cards the same - only discovered when I had to call them the other day, as I was mystified about why they hadn't collected the direct debit). So if BF and I both pay more than the minimum to our cards, that's two less direct debits I need to keep track of each month. Excellent news 😀Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Thanks for the reminder - I must log in to prolific and see whether there is any money in there. But I have just been into Quidco and emptied the available cash - £27.83 will come in handy.5
