So, in the interests of sticking to a plan once a plan is made (😂), I have increased my pension contributions this morning and am back up to the maximum my employer will match. I thought if I do it now while my salary is reduced then it will carry on automatically when (if?) it gets reinstated and I don't have to dither about it then. It will also only cost me about £70/month with the current salary, so seemed worth it for what should amount to £3k-ish per year.
I then (you'll love this 😂) wondered what % increase would amount to an extra £100/month deduction, as that seemed a nicer number. Worked that out and tried to change it again, but frustratingly they'll only allow one change a day (the rogues!) so that's diarised for tomorrow now 😀Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

And it was! Didn't fancy what I was due to have for lunch, so made TWELVE portions of something else instead - that's lunches taken care of for a while 😂! There's an element of self-sabotage in there though, as I'm lacking motivation to cook what I'd planned for dinner, and now can't as I have no containers left for the leftovers. Really must do it soon though, as I bought the veg last weekend (and didn't fancy cooking it then either 😡). Have given the veg the once-over and it's fine for the minute.
Have just done S&S and think I'm going to settle down with a book and maybe a little tipple of somethingMortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Just did a Prolific survey and remembered both my name and gender 😀
I've also had £3.37 interest paid on the EF, so have paid that across to the credit card that funded it 😀 Feels nicely serendipitous having one bank pay off another!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
