Hi South Coast, I lurk on your diary, and a good many others actually! For what it is worth, you are doing the right thing trying to think in income streams and concentrating on what sort of money you need to live on. I am 52, and I will be finishing work for good next month, I have money to support myself for the next couple of years before I take my company pension. My OH is already retired, she finished three years ago at 56, so I have the added advantage of knowing what "income" I need. We aren't mega rich, but we are comfortable, mortgage free and no debts. Keep going, you will reap the benefits.Mortgage Free November 2018

I have ordered the "Work Optional" book that Glass Half Full recommended (using Amazon vouchers from S&S, obvs 😀). Now sulking that it's still a week til payday and it's making my plotting impotent 😦 It's not that I need to buy anything, the lack of money isn't the problem, I just want to decide how to spend it once I get it!!!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
