I think the Pink Panther was the flaw in the jewel?
Wonder what a pink lion would look like - a toned down version of Lawrence Leweliin Bowen springs to mind...😆If it's not adding up, compound it!3 -
Right, I had to look it up....🙄
Good old Wikipedia!

Been to Boots and used £2.55 of points on items that were on my grocery list, so moved £1.00 to the ISA, £1.00 to the LISA and 55p to the car savings. Then thought the car savings looked untidy with 55p at the end and I wouldn't miss 45p from my personal pot, so moved that across as well. This is how I end up leaving myself short 🤦♀️! All those little "Well I won't miss that"'s add up!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

I do the same thing SC, I'm trying the 1p savings challenge and keep thinking that it's fine for me to just move pennies out of my personal pot but then end up wondering where all my money has gone 😂 Have budgeted it properly this month so shouldn't leave myself short again 🤞Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20174

No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Been a little while since you updated SC, hope you're doing something fun!
I don't really do the whole transferring as I go along. I tend to deal with my manual transfers all in one go once or twice a month. I am starting to think I do this all wrong!4
