An A from me too! Where would you lose marks? Two pieces of cake IN A MONTH? A little bit of extra alcohol, and not quite enough exercise, but all other goals achieved. Perhaps not perfect - but definitely way up there! 😁6

You're all very lovely 😍 but I do still feel like I ate too much, drank too much and didn't move enough!!!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

P.S. Cheery, I love the fact that you assumed the dessert was cake - I feel a strong cake bias coming from your direction 🤣!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

If you want to be harsh on yourself then an A- but overall I think a really good effort.

But you delivered it most excellently Ruby 👍😀
First of the month, so have just run my ultimate money needed figures - only £277,329.94 to go 🤣! Still, a £1600 improvement on this time last month, and with only £250 going in as new money the rest is entirely down to the pensions rollercoaster 🎢😮😮😮!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

South_coast said:....While I was doing that, a letter came from the share people. Not the cheque I was expecting (meant to have been sent the next working day after they received the certificate back - posted last weekend, I think?) - just a letter saying they've received an instruction to sell the shares and to let them know if that wasn't made by me. Yes, it was me - where is my cheque??? So, as I only need to tell them if it wasn't me, when do they issue the cheque? The next working day after they send the letter (which assumes I'll read it straight away, so probably not)? The next working day after they think I might receive the letter? The next working day after they think I might have received the letter, plus got round to calling them if it wasn't me that requested it? Even if it wasn't me, no-one else can cash the cheque anyway, as it'll have my name on it 😡!
The first phone call I made earlier was to Virgin Money, to try and understand a mystifying letter they'd sent me. In a nutshell, they'd received my request to transfer my pension, but wanted to let me know that if I've been contacted by someone offering me early access to it then it's likely to be fraudulent (Me: "No it was me, I just want to put my money in a pension with lower fees); and if it was me then I need to fill in a form. Enclosure: Leaflet about pension fraud. Where is my form to fill in??? Called them, "Oh, that's been sent to your new provider". Me: "Well it doesn't bl**dy say that, does it???" (I didn't really swear, but I definitely felt like it! So much for the weekends being when I "thrive" 🙄)
Honestly, how can it be so hard to get my hands on my own money?!?!?
* Pension transfer is happening, the "form" was a load of paperwork, mostly details of their funds, but with one page needing my signature and the date. Why they couldn't send that directly to me I don't know, but I have signed, dated and returned to the new provider
* ISA transfer no further forward. Virgin Money and Vanguard are each blaming the other. I'm inclined to believe Virgin Money as the date they say they wrote to Vanguard is 5 days later than the date Vanguard say they wrote to Virgin Money (which they say they've been chasing a response to 🙄). Have pointed out they appear to be chasing for something they already have. They are looking into it....
* And I STILL don't have my cheque!!! Good job I'm not in dire straits and having a fire sale of my assets 🙄
Verdict: 1 out of 3. Dreadful 🤦♀️Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
