OMG, I really did get tempted tonight!!! All the way home I was thinking "Wouldn't a glass of wine be nice? Surely it's better to think it would be nice than it's absolutely necessary? Doesn't that make it OK 🤔???"
I even quickly looked at the alcohol in Lidl, but was super-strong and just left with my fizzy water 😇
But I still really want some 😮😮😮!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Immediately after I posted that last night, I went in the fridge to get my dinner out and discovered I needed milk 🤦♀️ Didn't want to run the gauntlet of trying not to buy alcohol after work again, so I've just nipped down to the Tesco in town to get some. Completely forgot a face covering as I was too busy congratulating myself for remembering I'd need a key to get back in the main door as well as my own (trades button doesn't come on until 8.00am), so had to zip my top right up and pull it over my face, exposing my wobbly midriff to the world - most unsatisfactory 😮!
But at least I wasn't tempted to buy alcohol....😀😀😀Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Regretted it as soon as I logged on and saw the emails though - all the nutters have come out overnight 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️!
And I've just opened a letter from the bank saying they've dropped my mortgage payments to £12.99/month after the £2k OP the other week (of which £5.22 will be interest, so only taking £7.77 off the balance every month 😮!) It starts in May - little do they know that's going to be the last monthly payment 😀!

There's something very satisfying about knowing something the Bank doesn't know!
