This is my ignorance showing, what are those brands? I'm like 50% sure that they must be less than your house still!

That's very true 🤣! Although BF and I did once wander into a Jaguar dealership (not my choice!) and there was a car there for £80k. Probably not even the most expensive, but I stopped looking at the prices after that! And there's a yacht broker on the harbour that it's fun to browse in the window of sometimes where even the really pants boats are £85k+ 😮!

    I'm thinking Audi/Mercedes/BMW 😀

You can get a nice boat for much less than £85k! 😊 but they are money pits...

Well done on snowballing the mortgage.  I go through phases thinking that I should be doing the same thing but I just can't seem to get rid of the "regular" saving mindset!

As for cars, my dream is an Audi R8 but in reality I know my next car will probably be an electric one and most likely the VW option as while Tesla's do appeal to me, there's something about them that I find a little creepy 🤷‍♀️

I think that's just the creepiness of Elon Musk permeating the brand! I don't have anywhere to charge an electric car as my parking space is on the other side of the car park (will be interesting to see how the Chair deals with that when they stop selling petrol and diesel), so looks like I'll be sticking with petrol this time round at least.

Looking at some of the boats moored in the marina, they make the £85k ones look really pants Vix. Ah well, I can just stand and look at them for free!
