judging by lack of action on the DF diary everyone has been outside catching the sunny weather after (for me anyway) a busy indoors week at work
I certainly have been mainly offline doing chores and having lunches in the garden, then socially distant socialising at friends in the evenings.
Plus, I did some leafletting for my friend who is trying to get re-elected as councillor and managed just under 30000 steps for the weekend in allI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Thank you @one-step-at-a-time - just looked at your signature - wow wow wow, you are so nearly there now - I'll check in on yours and see you over the finish line, it promises to be a blockbuster
with a happy ending
Managed a walk yesterday to the local green space, and then walked to my annual NHS health check, where I got a clean bill of health on my blood sugars (us plump gents need to be vigilant), although my keto diet had increased my cholesterol marginally so will aim at more of the salads less of the prosciutto
looking forward to tomorrow which will see the demise of CC2, leaving me with CC3 and the mortgage to tackle, both works in progressI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Hey Mark,
Great to see that despite some moments where stuff just happens CC2 will soon be sorted. I think as lockdown is easing the budgets might take some minor hits but will hopefully eventually even back out once we all become back used to the norm...if that indeed happens. Good news on the steps and healthy stuff in general5 -
Hey Dan - yes definitely some hits
* Some hits (eg Laptop/Oven) were bolts form the blue
* Some hits (eg Kids Computers) were more a lowering of the guard to discretionary spending
* Some hits (eg Car) were accelerating spending ahead of strictly necessary - kind of like punching yourself in the head early to get it out of the way !!
But the horizon is as clear as expected, and normality is returning (with added caution)I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

So CC2 is now paid off, and I took a small chunk off CC3 to take it down to exactly £9K. Have 15 months at 0% to pay that back but will aim at getting it done as soon as possible, and certainly this year, depending on how it all goes, and whether we spend a little more on rest and recreation as things open up.
Hopefully May won't be too tight as a consequence, but its generally a cheap month in terms of annual outgoings so should be fineI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Today officially I am reliving my youth in that my hair is now so long (after decades of short back and sides) that I needed to use a blob of Hair Gel to avoid looking like an aging hippie! My OH thinks it looks great so I may get to avoid a hair cut for another couple of months - until well after jab 2 hopefully!!I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

haha brilliant, and moneysaving!! My OH would say keep it and be grateful for it...Lack of haircuts this last year has not been a bother for him, he's not required a haircut since he was 22!Debt Free I FFEF I Building Savings I 2025 Plan:

Ha! - I bet your OH is rocking the look by now. My FIL didn't quite have that but he did go grey when he was early 20s (or as he jokes, just after my OH was born)I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Annoyingly CC2 took the regular Debit after I had cleared the balance - my bad I should have planned ahead, but now I have to get £500 back, which hopefully won't take too long. Lucky its the flush part of the month unless it takes too long but I can always move some from the EF (what a lovely thing to be able to say)I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
