Ouch to oven bill. Great you could absorb it in EF.
Well done on the cash reclaims.

Another FEB rich day today (although some were Tadpoles to be fair)
* managed to persuade DS2 to chase up on some pension money (£2K) he is owed, he won't see it for 50 years, but better in his hands than anyone else's
* finally worked out how to enable my OH to use the discount vouchers I can get from work (involves 2 different apps and Apple Pay) but means I can buy most supermarket gift cards at 5% discount (ie Pay £95 for £100 voucher)
* Found another £200 of receipts from OH foodbank after spotting a gap in the invoice - so very nearly a self inflicted stupid tax
* Managed to get my boss to approve half a performance bonus now and the rest in 3 months rather than waiting 3 months for it all - only a few hundred but may just see the end of CC2 come payday
* Cancelled Kindle Unlimited after not using it for a month (my test of value)

Lovely day out in the garden, first real effort this year. Managed to build on last years efforts and clear away the much smaller amount of overgrowth/overhang.
Also cleared away an area where I will put some membrane and gravel down tomorrow, to make a new sitting area no we get a bit of extra sun without the overgrowth
However, planning the new area meant a trip out to the garden centre - but lucked out as the pots were all half price (and genuinely good value), so bought a bit of bedding as wellI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Thank you SH
well the frogs (and garden) certainly got a lot of attention last weekend, but I will know if I'm on top of things this next payday if I can get CC2 closed, and start addressing the swarm (host?, mess? of tadpoles in Pond CC3
didn't managed to get the gravel down as went round for a cuppa with an old friend and it turned into a bit of an outdoor tea party as their garden is a sun trapI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
