Great on weight loss. I've started restricting carbs and feeling better for it.
Using a gardener to get a head start was a good move. My gardener is away as I wanted to do the same.
Like you I have a huge decluttering IKEA bag in my hallway and about to start another one...

yes I find on the lo carb diet that I don't feel as hungry even if I have a light breakfast I can make it to lunch without snacking. Also its a bit binary - its not about moderating treats or portions, its about 100% avoiding certain things and I appear to be better as binary than a wider set of choices
pleased to say weighed in this morning, and was a smidgen over 240, so if I am good for next two days (at home then WFH) I should be under 240 and then 2lbs later under 17st for the first time in a while!!I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Glad the diet is working for you. Congrats on decluttering - we need to do more but I must admit without the incentive of getting rid of it quickly - unlikely to do so.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

my advice would be for the 2 days (if I understand correctly) is try lo-carb (you probably have to), but I find it very filling - so egg & bacon - chicken & cheese - then may be skip one meal and you might be surprised
I love the maths of 5:2 if everyone is slightly over eating on average, then just have 2 days when you are well under and job done!
Of course you should never take dietary advice from plump men on the internet even if they do think they are expertsI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Haha, I love your sense of humour
Some of my friends have had massive success on 5:2 and lo carb.
Enjoy the Easter break, it'll be a random one, but a break none the less

omelette is lovely - especially with small amount of strong cheddar
my OH loves porridge with seeds and fruit, but I have gone with greek yoghurt (full fat lo carb) and raspberries (the lo carb end of fruitful naughtiness) as my easy no thought breakfast although egg and bacon is a regularI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
